Tina starts to apply CPR to Bette when Patty unlocks the door with her key and walks in the room.  Patty sees what Tina is doing and yells out the door to the head nurse,  “Diane we need the paddles Stat in room #210.”  Patty runs over to Tina and exchanges places with her. In less than thirty seconds Patty is shocking Bette’s heart with the paddles.  Bette’s heart starts immediately.  Diane comes in and turns on and hooks Bette up to the heart and blood pressure monitors, as she says, “ Patty we’re going to send Bette back to ICU.”  Patty comes around to Tina’s side.  “Tina you just saved Bette’s life!  Her heart stopped.”  Patty gets Tina a Valium as they wait for the Orderly to take Bette back upstairs.  Tina is crying as she’s holding Bette’s hand.

When Bette is settled in ICU again, Tina calls Mel’s cell phone number.  Tina relays the events that just happened and about the piece of plastic she found on Bette’s skin.  Mel will be by in the morning.  “Tina you did a good job again.  Now try to rest.  You and Bette will be safe in ICU.  Don’t worry I’ll send Tony over now, he’s one of your security guys, and the other one is Jeff he’ll be over in the morning.  Now try to get some rest!”

Kelly the Night Nurse is just starting her shift.  She sees Bette’s name just added to the roster in pen.  Kelly hurries to Bette’s room.  “Tina what happened?  I’m just starting my shift.”  Patty comes over to Kelly and introduces herself and hands her Bette’s chart. Kelly takes Tina’s hand after she reads Bette’s chart and says, “Say goodnight to Bette.  You’re coming with me!  Patty will stay in the room with Bette tonight.”  (Patty nods to the affirmative.)

***West Hollywood Police Precinct***

Dave Hansen is sitting at the conference table in the squad room.  He has his notes spread out on the table.  Dave hears the door open, “Hi Mel have a seat.”  The Lieutenant has his notes in a plain manila folder.

Mel explains, “Dave I’m sorry I’m late. I received a frantic call from Tina a half hour ago.  Somebody tried to kill Bette again.  This time it was with some kind of transparent plastic covert device. This has to be an inside job now.  Someone planted the device in Bette’s bed.  When she laid down the pressure activated it.  The device sent a silent electrical charge to her heart and stopped it.  If it weren’t for Tina giving Bette a massage, she would have never noticed Bette wasn’t breathing.  She turned Bette over and started CPR instantly.  The nurse came in with the paddles and had Bette’s heart started within seconds.  Bette is one lucky lady.  Somebody really wants Bette dead! She’s back in ICU.  I had dispatch contact Tony Evans over at the Bureau and they’re sending him right away to Bette’s Room at the hospital.  I called the FBI and Tony will be representing the Bureau here, and heading up the investigation for their end.  The FBI says it’s handling the case as espionage.
