When Bette tires she crawls back up and takes Tina in her arms.  She is so full of love for Tina.  Bette is quiet for a moment then she begins.  “Tina this has been the most memorable night of my life. (She kisses Tina cheek.)  I don’t know what to say?  Everything you do is to perfection.  This past week with you Baby, you’ve made me into a better person.  Every day you teach me to respect myself.  I find now Tina, that  I fall in love with you a little bit more each day.  You’ve turned my life upside down, and for the better.  Today has been very emotional for me, but in a good way.

“My precious Tina, for the first time in my life I had fun sex.  You were so funny, with your silly accent and Pussy Galore!  But you know what I was actually having fun.  I never knew what to expect from you.  One minute you were sexy hot and then silly and goofy!  Oh, and I almost forgot, dinner was so delicious.  You really out did yourself kid!  You make me feel good about myself, and I haven’t felt that way in a long time.”

Tina interrupts. “Bette you’re so vocal tonight.  I haven’t heard you talk this much.”  Bette cuts Tina off.   “Tina let me finish.  I want to say these things to you.”  Bette takes a deep breath.  “Tina you have shown me nothing but love and respect from the minute we met.  You never had an agenda with me.  Tina I know you still don’t trust me, and you have every reason not to trust me, but I going to earn my way back into your good graces." 

Bette continues, "Yesterday when you saved me from sitting in jail, again you didn’t question me or belittle me, you let me have my dignity.  Tina you taught me self-respect.  Do you know what Sergeant Decker said to me?  He said, ‘Thank you for coming down here and apologizing, I appreciate it.”  Can you believe it?  He appreciated it.  Tina I’ve been a fool.  I’ve been hiding behind my Yale degree with my self-importance and self-indulgence. Alpha Bette, what a crock!  Talk about strength, Tina you’re the Alpha; you just make me look like I’m the Alpha in your quiet unassuming way.  You’re the power that’s within me  ….. Tina you taught me something more important last night.  You taught me to be a caring and loving human being!  Tina how can I ever thank you?”
