Dana – “So you are a cheese monster like me then?”

At this absurd admittance by Dana, Alice found it hilarious and broke down into fits of hysterics. Dana looked at Alice and smiled, then realising her comment started to laugh with her. Alice put her head in her hands and shook uncontrollably with tears flowing down her face.

At this point Julie stepped into the trailer announcing that there were only 5 minutes left. Upon seeing Alice like this, Julie dashed up to Alices` side and placed a reassuring hand on her back, asking her if she was ok. Dana looked over to their interaction with concern. Alice looked up at Julie and told her she was fine that it was just tears of joy. Julie was relieved, so many times she had seen Alice in tears of hurt and sadness both in front of reporters and when they had left, after ripping her feelings apart. Julie was relieved and looked at Dana and smiled.

Alice – “Oh dear,” she said wiping away the tears. “What is next on the agenda by the way?”

Julie – “You have a 45 minute interview then an allocated 30 minutes pencilled in for going over the script for later this afternoon, and then lunch.”

Alice looked over at Danas` notepad which had the briefest of notes and realised how intently Dana had actually listened and taken in her answers, almost being enthralled with her confessions. Despite realising her admittance of intimate stuff, this was a welcome relief to Alice as most just jotted things down, only to seem to write what they thought anyway.

Julie left the girls to finish off, happy that Alice seemed so relaxed and happy with the interview.

Alice – “That was sneaky! Your different approach got me to admit some real home truths there that I do not tell anyone, even my friends!”

Dana – “Are you ok with that, because I meant it when I said I can leave out anything you are not too happy with, honest!”

Alice – “Do you know what, I believe you,” she said looking directly into Danas` exquisite green eyes.

Dana looked right back at her and realised she had gone against her resolve not to look into those deep brown, sexy eyes and found herself spinning out of control.

Alice – “Ah, print it!”

Dana – “How about I type it up and email you a copy for you to proof read before I send it to the magazine?”. Quickly, Dana asked, “Or I could pop to the gates and hand a hard copy to Jim and get him to give it to Julie to pass on?” She hoped this way she might be able to get another glimpse of this beautiful woman, somehow.

Alice briefly looked perplexed then realised she meant security. She was shocked again by the fact that she was on first name basis with him, Jim didn’t really converse with anyone in his little hut. Was there anyone this woman did not know?

Alice nodded nonchalantly. Out of nowhere she took a risk and asked Dana a question.

Alice – “I can not believe I am going to ask this,” she said cutely pushing stray hair behind her ear, “ but I have another interview for 45 minutes as you heard Julie say.”

Danas` heart skipped a beat at what Alice was going to say next.

Alice – “How would you like Julie to show you around for the duration and then show you back here for another 30 minute interview? Believe it or not I have really enjoyed this, and by the look of your notes you may need more material for your article?! That is if you are not too busy? Then I have lunch, so if it goes well we could grab a bite and eat it back here and I maybe able to ask a few questions myself?” Alice blushed at this forwardness.

Dana was shocked at this. She smiled and blushed herself, inwardly doing her ‘yeah baby, way to go’ dance in her head and was ecstatic. Then she reminded herself to stay cool, it probably meant nothing.

Dana – “I would love to, if you don‘t mind!?”

Alice – “Ok. I’ll get Julie to write it down on her little clipboard to make it official!”

Dana suddenly looked solemn and said – “I think maybe I better explain the real reason I’m here first, I want to be truthful with you.”

Alice was overcome with concern and panic …
