Alice held out her hand towards the chair and told Dana to take a seat. Dana with her usual manners waited for Alice to sit first. She rummaged in her backpack and retrieved an A4 notepad, flipped over the top and put it on the table with her Marilyn Monroe pen. Alice looked over and smiled, she loved Marilyn and her movies too. Dana seemed rather unorganised for some reason until she put her bag on the floor and pulled the notepad in front of her.
Alice nodded to the pad – “You got all your questions there ready?”
Dana looked a bit tentative – “Well no actually, I don’t have any written down but I kind of have them formed in my head, if I am able to retrieve them!”
Alice smiled – “Bit dangerous don’t you think. All the others have them written down and stick to a script. They are probably formulated by a group or writers days before, and have them to find out my inner most thoughts, fears and secrets.”
Dana – “Well I’m kind of different I’m afraid! I want you to be at ease during the interview. You get to really tell me what you want the readers to know. If I get a bit too close to enquiring about anything you feel uncomfortable about I want you to stop and we won’t go any further.”
Alice – “Wow, that is different! There has to be a catch somewhere?”
Dana – “No, what you see is what you get.”
This comment elicited a smile from Alice, which didn’t go unnoticed by Dana. Alice just thought she really, really liked what she saw and wished that she could get it! Oh Alice, stop it right now she reprimanded herself.

Alice – “What do you want to start with, my date of birth, middle name … ?”
Dana – “Erm, no thanks. All magazines have that information in, most of the fans are aware its April 1st 1961 and Ethel!”
Alice looked shocked and shot Dana a glare. Dana chuckled and apologised as she was only joking, saying the correct details. Alices` heart warmed towards this woman instantly. Not only hot but funny and smart too. Surely too much to ask for?

OMG U TEASE!! LOL I cant believe u left us hanging like tht!! Ok so firstly sorry for not commenting on like the last 8 chapters i been pretty busy. Secondly WOW I reli reli reli love ur story and i love ur twist on things making Dana the journalist and Alice the celebrity. Im concerned Dana admission into wateva reason it is she is interviewing Al will ruin there budding frendship ….. Oh i cant wait for more. U reli do have no reason for any nerves ur doing a great job u reli are a lot better at postin than me anyways lol :D PPS Cant wait thnk u :) xxx
I totally agree with SB. How could you end the chapter like that? Please update ASAP?! I hope D’s motive would not turn A off. I want to see them having lunch and talk more. I love D’s questions which were quite extraordinary I am also impressed by her quick wit and consideration during the interview. Excellent job. Thank you very much, chillipepper!

Loved it! I especially love Dana being herself and Alice realizing that and appreciating it. Sounds like Dana got some of her questions for the Danish author’s spotlight sessions. Dana doing a dance in her head was just too funny. I am concerned about Dana’s confession — and also that she only has a few minutes to make it. I won’t get on you too much about the cliffhanger since I know you won’t keep us hanging too long. Thanks so much, chillipepper!!
