Three months later.
Bette had just stepped out of the shower when she heard the phone ringing. It was Michael, he wanted Bette to go straight to the county jail instead of the office; he received a phone call from Terry that morning asking her to meet with him because he is now ready to talk.
“So are you ready to talk?” Bette said pulling her chair inside the interrogation room; she was getting tired of Terry’s little game.
“C’mon Terry I don’t have much time for you.”
Terry stood up from his chair and walked slowly towards the window.
“I’ve got something important to tell you.” He said while looking out the window. “But first you have to get me out of here. I can’t be here Bette, looked what they have done to me.” He said while pointing to the bruises all over his face.
“You should have thought about it last time before you got drunk Terry.”
“If I got important information, would you let me out of here?”
“That’s not up to me Terry it’s up to the district attorney, you know that.” Bette said.
“No, I don’t want any attorney involved. If you let me out of here I will tell you who did it that night.”
“What are you talking about Terry?” She said looking straight into Terry’s eyes.
Terry quickly sat down again knowing this time he had Bette’s full attention.
“I’m talking about the night Julie died. I bet you don’t care about that now do you, because I heard you found someone new.”
Bette quickly grabbed Terry’s collar, her face immediately turned red. “Tell me what you know about that night! And leave Tina out of this” She shouted.
“Let go off me.” He said adjusting his collar “I can’t tell you anymore unless you get me out of here.”
Bette began to lose her patience. “Ok, I’ll make you a deal.”
“How do I know you will keep your promise?”
“I said I’ll make you a deal; now tell me what you know about that night or I’m going to leave you and let these people beat you to death. It’s your choice.” Bette said staring at him hard.

I hope that whatever happens that Bette can move on with Tina. They make a very good couple. Both have been hurt because of different situations, but with each other they can move forward.
Interesting twist… can’t wait for more. p.s. Since its 3 months later… are they living together?
I agree with Amanda she needs hard evidence Bette being a cop should know you can’t trust a criminal especially one who is afraid they would do or say anythind to get out. At least she has Tina to comfort her.
i hope she has more evidence then that guys word… and i hope they don’t try to to anything bad to tina or angie…PPS
Terry sounds like he’s full of shit. I think he did it himself while drunk.
Hey Search, Good to see that Bette is finally getting the closure over Julie’s death that she needs to be able to move forward completely with Tina. Sweet to see the concern and love flowing from Tina when she realizes that her partner is hurting. This open communication is most attractive and wonderful. I hope they have more evidence too,dont let anything bad happen to tina/angie either.but let them put this behind them where they can be happy with their lives.p.p.s.
