The thought of approaching her father or grandsire was impossible though they were in the unique positions of once being in her position of bonding with other than Vulcan females. If there were any in the galaxy that shared her predicament they had. Both Amanda and Rhaina were formidable highly passionate women. It was a description that also fit Elizabeth quite well.
Lost in these thoughts she was startled by the soft chime of their cabin bell. Elizabeth did not stir beside her and slumbered on. She carefully covered her and drew on a Vulcan robe. This was their first visitor and she was curious as to who it would be.
“Come” she spoke and the computer recognizing her voice opened the door. “Admiral” she greeted the vibrant sire of her wife.
“Commander” Kirk replied. “May I come in?”
“Of course Sir” she pointed him to the seating area. “May I offer you refreshment?”
“Brandy?”
“Saurian?”
He nodded and looked around the cabin. “I thought Elizabeth was here I understood you were both off duty?”
“She is resting. I can wake her for you if you wish.”
“No. If you are not up for company I can be on my way.” He noted that Christina was on edge if he read this Vulcan as well as her father and that concerned him given the rapidity of their marriage.
“The Vulcan need for sleep is not as great as the Terran need. I am fine.” Christina answered.
Elizabeth woke from her slumber and found Christina gone. At first she panicked remembering the last time that happened and Christina had taken off. She carefully tested their meld and it told her Christina was near. The door to their bedchamber was closed which indicated there must be a visitor in their outer cabin. She opened the link and was surprised to see her Father comfortably seated and drinking what she suspected was some of her private stock of Saurian brandy. She rose to dress as she listened in on their talk.
“I never had the chance to have that father of the bride chat with my daughter’s intended.”

Holy crap…that was a shocker. I can honestly say that I didn’t see that coming at all! Kelika…you are full of surprises (LMAO). Oh if only Sunkissed would update her story daily, we would get to know sooner we’d get the rest of Kirk’s confession. Oh this is going to be a really long and hard wait….way to go Kelika! SK, get that pen moving will ya!!!!
Hahahahahaha! Thanks, that was very gratifying! As the old song says, “let’s get down to the real nitty-gritty.” And another old song, “the treasure of love is found on no chart, it’s waiting for you if you look within your heart.” I hope Dad can help the young newlyweds out. But you know, now you’ve got me QUITE curious as to EXACTLY how Spocky feels about all this (does he even know?) and what about Uhura, past and present. God, Kelika, you just have soooooo many nooks and crannies to explore. Did you see the story where Gene and Majel Rodenberry’s ashes are to be sent into space?
Wait! You were all squeamish about Rachael getting a proper and deserved ass kicking in round 1, but now you’re all about the ass kicking when it comes to Jodie? Not that I disagree, I just think they should both get a major ass kicking, no qualms. (Hey! It’s fiction!)

Go for it, Kelika! Of course, not being a Trekkie fiend, I may be adding to a possible mutinous response! As to my lack of posting–you are quite correct, I am without excuse. Well, I do have excuses galore but none that I will share. I will try to get back to Thief as soon as possible–that’s about as mucch as I can promise at present. Well this chapter was enough to pull me out of my prior lurking status … OMG!!! Kirk has feelings for Spock? The entire Trekie fanbase must be ready for a mass mutany about now…that was definitely a shocker. I always wondered about that famous line “The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few or the one.” This made it crystal clear. I have loved this story since the beginning and I am so glad you decided to continue it. Hope you post again soon – poor Elizabeth must be about to burst out of the bedroom!
