Christina knew that she had shocked Elizabeth when she confessed that she enjoyed her touch. Elizabeth knew that she was able to satisfy her due to the cries of completion that involuntarily escaped her lips when Elizabeth mated with her. What Christina did not give her was the words.
Her Vulcan soul was as in love with Elizabeth as her Terran and Romulan self; yet words of love and deep emotion were rarely spoken on Vulcan. She did not know how to speak them. Based on the surprise and pleasure she felt through their bond she knew that her admission meant a lot to Elizabeth. She would give her more of that pleasure if she could figure out how.
Christina suffered what she could only call moments of insecurity when she contemplated the vocal pleasure that other’s could give to her wife. When they were mating she had no such doubts. She could not stay abed with Elizabeth all the time, she mused; that was not a viable solution even if it was appealing.
Even though Rachael represented the basest example of Romulan culture it was true that Romulans were the most sought after lovers in the galaxy. Christina could not deny this fact. It was said that once you had Romulan you never were satisfied by anything else. She wondered what it was that accounted for that expression. Was it genetic? Was it the Romulan embrace of fierce passion?
She found that she wanted to give Elizabeth everything she could desire as a mate. The area that she fell short in being mated to a terran was the ability to express her feelings in words and romantic gestures that seemed to mean so much. While she could not do this publically she could study and employ the strategies in their private life. Who could she seek advice from in these matters?
She could turn to her mother. Still it was awkward to discuss such things with one’s mother. Her cousin Serena might be helpful yet she did not completely trust her given her desire for her wife. Kit led the field in her mind being Elizabeth’s sister. There was some scuttlebutt on board that Elizabeth and Alice were once intimate. It was hard to imagine and the thought of seeking advice from the doctor on romance was more than she could tolerate.

Holy crap…that was a shocker. I can honestly say that I didn’t see that coming at all! Kelika…you are full of surprises (LMAO). Oh if only Sunkissed would update her story daily, we would get to know sooner we’d get the rest of Kirk’s confession. Oh this is going to be a really long and hard wait….way to go Kelika! SK, get that pen moving will ya!!!!

As the old song says, “let’s get down to the real nitty-gritty.” And another old song, “the treasure of love is found on no chart, it’s waiting for you if you look within your heart.” I hope Dad can help the young newlyweds out. But you know, now you’ve got me QUITE curious as to EXACTLY how Spocky feels about all this (does he even know?) and what about Uhura, past and present. God, Kelika, you just have soooooo many nooks and crannies to explore. Did you see the story where Gene and Majel Rodenberry’s ashes are to be sent into space?
Wait! You were all squeamish about Rachael getting a proper and deserved ass kicking in round 1, but now you’re all about the ass kicking when it comes to Jodie? Not that I disagree, I just think they should both get a major ass kicking, no qualms. (Hey! It’s fiction!)

Well this chapter was enough to pull me out of my prior lurking status … OMG!!! Kirk has feelings for Spock? The entire Trekie fanbase must be ready for a mass mutany about now…that was definitely a shocker. I always wondered about that famous line “The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few or the one.” This made it crystal clear. I have loved this story since the beginning and I am so glad you decided to continue it. Hope you post again soon – poor Elizabeth must be about to burst out of the bedroom!
