“Those of Romulus and Rhemus are not so guarded with our passions as those of Vulcan.” Rachael spat at her in defiance.
“Are you implying that Romulans, including your cousin no longer have honor?” Christina asked incredulous. Serena’s head snapped up and she fixed her eyes on Rachael to hear her response.
Seeing that she was trapped and not wanting to be humiliated again Rachael flushed green.
Elizabeth was suddenly at her side. “Commander?”
“Captain” she answered stiffly. She did not meet the ebony eyes, which searched her.
“We are about to begin the luncheon for your father, is there a problem?”
“No Captain.” Christina moved smoothly to her side assuming her place as First Officer.
Elizabeth moved off and Christina kept step with her. Porter nodded to the honor guard which snapped to attention as the tones rang out, bringing all the crew to military attention.
“Take your places” came the command from the guard. The crew filed to their places and stood at attention awaiting the Captain’s orders.
“Captain Porter and First Officer Kennard.” The honor guard intoned. On this ship regardless of rank everyone was under Porter’s command. The duo moved to their places at the head table.
“Admiral Kirk and Commodore Spock.” The two moved in unison and it was clear to those who watched that the two men were bound as securely as their offspring though in a different way.
Porter personally gave the next command. “Present arms” as she saluted the higher-ranking officers together with the remainder of her officers and crew.
“We also welcome Queen Rhaina of Rhemus, wife of Spock; as well as Princesses Serena and Rachael of Romulus. Please welcome also our guest my sister Katherine Porter to this celebration.” They took their places at the head table. “Please be seated.” She took her place at the table and looked to her father. “Admiral.”
“Captain” he nodded barely suppressing the smile that tugged at the corners of his mouth. “It was with great pleasure that Spock who has been in Starfleet service for over twenty-five years accepted the commission of Commodore of the Eastern Fleet.”

Frisky girl, that Christina. And she is going to make Rachael very, very sorry at some point. She goes well beyond bad manners and affronts all ettiquette. Are we SURE that Kirk and Spock’s relationship was all that different than Elizabeth’s and Christina’s?

I am so glad that someone pushed you into continuing this story. I can’t seem to get enough of Captain Porter and First Officer Kennard. I don’t think that there will be a time that they can withstand a causal touch without coming undone.

It just keeps getting better!! OMG! Christina will wind up kicking Rachael’s ass…. But here’s a thought.. how are you going to make it possible for Elizabeth to impregnate Christina? hmmmmm…. I guess as long as they do all that “hot” melding as much as possible of course,it could happen! :)
