“You have it all drawn out babe.”
“Yeah… I tried to get it finished yesterday.. but I just had to stop.”
“Babe… “ Bette looked at Tina and knew she was up to something.
“If I help you we can get it finished.. you have it all drawn out.. I can finish his name off… we could have it done today babe… but if that’s not ok with you I understand… I mean you have done so much work in here.. I wouldn’t want to finish it myself too.” Tina was rattling on as she often did when she was nervous. Bette knew she would not get a word in edgewise so she walked up to her wife and silenced her with a kiss.
“T… I would love to have you finish it as long as I can be in here with you… I can’t tell you how many times I was in here wishing we were doing it together.”
“Babe why didn’t you say something? I would have loved to do it with you.”
“I didn’t think you would be into it T.”
“Just for the record I am in to anything that involves doing something together with you!” Tina said before giving Bette a kiss and starting out the door.
“T.. where are you going?”
“To get the girl’s bean bag.. your supposed to be resting remember?”
Tina returned a few minutes later struggling to get the giant bean bag through the door of the nursery. Bette had to laugh that stupid thing was bigger than Tina, but here lately Bette has come to enjoy the thing. It was one of the few places she can truly get comfortable. She had to have help to get out if it, but the comfort was well worth it.
“Thanks babe!”
“Ya know I hated this thing for years and could have killed Dana for getting it for them, but I’m glad we have it right now.”
“Me to T”
“So let’s get you all comfy… then you can tell me what to do to finish your masterpiece.”
“T… it’s not that big of a deal”
