    A Tibette Beginning

    Chapter 66

    Previously…

“We need to call everyone and let them know what’s going on.” Tina suggested.

“Yeah or we could just call Alice…. T can we wait a little while before we call?”

    “Sure baby.. but why?”

“They will all converge. I want to have some time with you before they all show up.”

    “Are you ok babe?”

“Yeah… I just would like us to be alone when I show you the nursery.” The smile on Tina’s said everything Bette needed to know. They would not be making those calls until tonight.

    * * * * *

Bette stood in front of the nursery door. She let Tina get the keys away from her, but was making it hard for her to get to the lock.

“Come on Bette I wanna see!”

“Not so fast T… you’ll get in but it’s going to cost you.”

“Bette!” Bette stood in front of her wife with her lips puckered up waiting for Tina to pay her admission charge. Tina gave her a quick peck.

    “There not let me in.”

“Is that the best you can do for your pregnant wife?”

Tina leaned in and gave her wife a searing kiss.

“Mmmmm… now that’s better!” Bette stepped to the side to allow Tina access to the well hidden surprise. Tina gasped at her first sight of the nursery. It was beautiful. It was a huge landscape that took up tow of the walls a huge tree and the characters from Winnie the Pooh. Tina was completely in awe of Bette’s work. Everything was perfect, the clouds, every flower, even the bee’s flying around the honey pot, every stroke was perfection. Tina turned to Bette.

    “Baby it’s amazing.”

    “Do you like it?”

    “I absolutely love it baby… it’s perfect.”

Bette pointed to the wall they talked about putting the crib against. Tina’s heart broke… Bette had the lettering already drawn on the wall. She was so close to being done.”

“Aw Bette.. you were so close to being done.”

“It’s ok T.” Tina could hear the disappointment in Bette’s voice. She walked over to the wall with her son’s name drawn on it.
