Chapter 67
Previously…
Tina lead Bette out into the living room and the got settled. Bette’s head resting in Tina’s lap. It didn’t take long for Bette to drift off to sleep as Tina stroked her head. Left to her thoughts Tina took the time she needed to come to terms with the news they received this morning. Their son was making his way into this world. She had to stay strong for Bette. She had to take care of them. Tina vowed to herself she would stop at nothing to keep them safe and happy, forever. Tina drifted off to seep herself as thoughts of her wife, and their family ran through her head.
* * * * *
“Ok that’s all set babe. The delivery truck will be here by 10:00 tomorrow morning.”
“Good… what about the girls?”
“They will be here at 7:00 tonight.”
“Ok..”
“Babe.. are you ok?”
“Yeah.. it’s just going to take a little getting used to.. It’s one thing to lay around when I am not feeling well. It’s another thing to have to lay around.”
“I know babe, but it’s not for too much longer. And we will keep you company.”
“I know T.. I’m just being a baby.”
“That’s fine.. as long as your my baby!”
“Always!” They shared a gentle but loving kiss.
“Are you cooking tonight T?”
“Nah… I thought pizza would work for tonight, unless you don’t feel up to pizza babe.”
“No.. thats good… I was hoping you weren’t planning on cooking…” Tina looked at Bette quizzically. “So you could stay here with me.”
Tina couldn’t help but smile. “There is no place I would rather be!”
* * * * *
“Tina and I have some important news to tell you. We had our doctor’s appointment this morning.”
“Oh my god!!! Let’s see the pictures Porter… we want to see the little guy” Alice blurted out. Kit immediately sensed that something was not right.
“Save it Alice…. Baby girl..what’s going on?” Bette looked to Tina to continue.

Love that Tina can calm Bette and Gavin down. He will be Tina’s baby,he will want her all the time. Just like his Mom does.
