After the introducing, Alice took a place and Shane asked, “Where are they ?”

“Bette was on the phone with Tina when I left.” Was all Alice said.

Jenny, Shane and her changed a meaningful look and Max and April only shrugged.

“I assume that’s not a good thing ?” April asked.

Before someone else could contribute, Bette and Helena entered the room.

“That’s a very good thing, April. But a really long and tiresome tale.” She walked into April’s direction. “Hey again. I hope we didn’t let you wait too long ?”

“No, Bette, you’ve nice neighbors here. I took the freedom to look at Blue and everything is looking fine. Just wanted to tell you, that he may eat now.”

“Ahem, we’re a step ahead. I gave him something about twenty minutes ago. And we set up his litter box. I still have to check if he used it.” Bette told her.

Blue didn’t like to be talked about and he left his place. Everyone took a seat and he jumped up on his humans lap. Wriggling left and right and finding a position he liked. From there he had a nice overview of the group and it looked like he was grinning.

Helena and April were introduced and at last plans for the evening or night could be discussed.

Helena looked pointedly at Shane. “Shane, if you want you can take your things into the guestroom. Bette and I will soon pack and be on our way.”

Bette had a hard time to hold a neutral expression. She is sooo adorable.

“You’re not staying here ? What about Blue ?” Dr. Sullivan asked.

“Well, April, we thought we take him with us. We’re at the Casa del Mar tonight and because he was such a good boy today, I thought he should come with us. If that’s allright from your point of expertise.” Bette grinned.

April was looking at her and Helena and inside she laughed. Seems they are in for a surprise. “Sure, he can go with you. But think about all the moving of his equipment.”

The lovers hadn’t thought that far and it showed.

“Don’t worry.” Alice suddenly said. “The hotel’ll will provide you with what’s needed. Remember, I was there and read about their service.”
