Tina said “I don’t know Bette you could really kick the shit out of someone with that cast! Just kidding. I know what you mean. But I am not so fragile Bette. You have to let me shoulder some of the burden of our relationship and you have to let me in to help you. Or again you will turn outside of our relationship for those things. And Bette, that would absolutely kill me this time”.
Bette said “Tina what about all of this right now? Is this too much for you? What about work? Angie?”
Tina said “Well Bette, I have not called Aaron at work yet. I will be honest with you, he is going to freak out. I am going to see what I can do to work from here some. Angie is in good hands with Kit. Kit is on her way back to LA right now to pick up Angie from the babysitter and said she will keep her as long as she needs to. Angie will certainly miss her two momies, but more then anything, Angie needs you to get better Momma B. The rest of the details, we will work out Bette. I will get into a routine of helping you and taking care of you. It might be awkward at first, but we will get the hang of it. Fate works in strange ways and maybe this was meant to bring us closer together as a couple. You are going to be seeing a lot of me and ONLY me, so I hope you won’t get sick of me after all of this!”
Bette said “I won’t get sick of you”.
Tina said “Bette how about if I wash you up? I bet being fresh and clean would make you feel better”.
Bette said “OK. I guess”.
Tina went into the bathroom and brought out some supplies. She had a warm water basin, several wash clothes, a towel and some beauty supplies. She started with Bette’s face and washed if off very gently. A lot of the dried blood around the stitches and dirt in general came off of Bette’s face. She ran warm water through Bette’s hair. She cleaned off her arms and stomach and legs. At first Bette felt humiliated that her lover was having to do this to her and with Tina’s soothing affirmations to relax and let go she was able to enjoy the feeling of getting clean. Tina carefully toweled Bette off, she changed her hospital gown and carefully brushed Bette’s hair into a ponytail. She followed the makeshift shower with a gentle rub down of lotion that had a nice faint smell to it.

I agree with AmandaMG–this has to stop. Bette holds the key to ending things with Jodie. She just let Tina storm out. With Tina gone, Bette needs to put her foot down and make it plain with Jodie. End it NOW!!! I think you have enough storyline still with Bette needing rehab and the pressure her injuries will put on her and Tina in their renewed relationship. PPS

If Nette is afraid of hurting Jodie,she is slowly killing Tina. Bette needs to stop this now. Either let Jodie stay and take care of her or tell her to get lost. thanks
Ditto to the advice given by your other readers. After getting Jodie out of the way, B and T need to get back to LA (perhaps Peggy Peabody’s jet could conveniently show up in “what the fuck, Oregon and carry out a mercy flight). Afterwards B and T can begin mending B’s broken body as well as their broken relationship.
Alright Bette, tell jodi like it is. Tell jodi that she is history and needs to take a hike. Hopefully, Tina can regroup and be ready to enter Bette’s room with her soul knowing that Bette and her belong together.
Finally Tina has told Bette how she feels about Jodi.I feel Jodi is being really insensitive but i have to admit if i was her i’d find it all heart renching. I mean to see Bette and Tina together to see Bette hurt, its alot to take in when it happens the way it did. the relationship still oblivious to Jodi what is really going on. I think you should talk about Jodi’s point of view and her feeling with Bette, also i would like to see Bette back at home with Angie.

Oh I just caught up. I love this story. I agree with just about everyone Bette needs to put the proverial foot down and give Jodi the heave ho. I do understand it’s harder than it sounds but poor Tina how much is she suppose to put up with. The question is what’s wrong with Jodi doesn’t she see the writing on the wall? Get chapter thanks J
