Bette, T, and baby make three Ch. 15
Bette: “Well, your intentions seem honorable. Don’t they, T?”
Tina: “That’s a beautiful thing you’re doing in your father’s memory. But I still have a few more concerns.”
Dylan: “What more would you like to know?”
Tina: “Well, Bette and I would like to use our last name would that be a problem?”
Dylan: “No, absolutely not. Please understand, this will be your child. I do not wish to seek any role in the life of this child. I will turn over my full parental rights to you and will not stake any claims to the child. My life is not modeled to meet the needs of a child in any way. I don’t mean to seem selfish, but there is no room for a child in my life not even as a part-time parent. It’s just not something that fits into my future plans. Having said that there is no way I can ask you to give the child my name or enforce any rules upon the two of you which would require you to raise it in any certain way. I’m doing this strictly for my father in the best way I can to suit myself. And the best way I can is to pick two responsible people. The only thing I ask is that you love this child. Love it for everything that it is. Love it unconditionally as my father did me.”
Bette: “Thank you, Dylan.”
Tina: “Yes, thank you. You are everything we’ve been looking for in a donor. We couldn’t ask for more.”
The waiter brings their entrees and the trio seem to talk more at ease with the heavy issues now out of the way. The couple open up to Dylan as if he were a long time friend. The hours seem to pass with out notice and restaurant’s dinner crowd slowly begins to clear out.
Bette: “You guys, I hate to break up the conversation, but it appears that they’re getting ready to close up here.”
Dylan looks at his watch, “Ooh it’s 9:15. I think they stop serving at 9:30.”
Tina: “Well, Dylan, I’ve had a wonderful dinner and I am so thankful to have met you.”
Dylan: “Likewise.”
Tina looks at Bette suggesting she should say something. Bette takes the hints, “Well, I don’t want to appear hasty, but I think Tina and I would like for you to be our donor. Assuming, you feel comfortable with us.”
Dylan: “I was just thinking the same thing. I can’t imagine finding a better couple than the two of you and I think you will be wonderful mothers.”
They stand to leave while gathering their belongings.
Dylan: “Bette….Tina, just let me know when you are ready for me to donate. Also, if there were any concerns, I am tested reguraly for STD’s and I have my paperwork.”
Bette: “Well, how would Monday be?”
Dylan: “That works for me. You have my number right, Bette?”
Bette: “Yes, it’s at my office. If you want Tina can take you to the cryobank.”
Dylan: “Ok, Tina, just give me a call Monday morning and I’ll give you directions to pick me up.”
Tina: “Sounds great. Have a good night.”
Dylan: “You, too.”
He departs and the two women walk hand in hand back to the parked car.
Tina: “It’s still early do you want to swing by the planet?”
Bette shrugs, “It doesn’t matter. What about you?”
Tina: “Well, I would much rather just spend the night in your exclusive company.”
Bette smiles looking into Tina’s sparkling eye’s, “That sounds like just what I had in mind.”

Dylan sounds like a great guy. It’s great that Bette and Tina were able to find him. Hopefully all goes smoothly from here on out. Thanks for the update, cole!
I hope I am wrong, but Dylan sounds too good to be true. Geez, I can be a cynic…forgive me please!! Thanks!
Hope Dylan is good as he sounds. Thank you for the post and keep up the wonderful story

I have to agree with the other girls.Dylan seems too good to be true.
I am in agreement with the others..Dylan seems too good to be true. Something doesn’t seem right. It’s just too easy…too perfect — and nothing is perfect. Thanks for the story, please continue.
Is he wanting money??
Other then that I don’t know but I don’t think Tina should go with him alone. Why can’t he do it by himself?
Not really sure about this dylan!
I’m with the others concerning Dylan. But I’m sure they will get all the papers signed before they do anything.
I totally agree with everybody else, there’s something shifty about that bloke, i don’t know whatit is but i’m sure we’re gonna find out!
Great post, but I am with the others is regards to Dyan. Something stinks and it aint the fish.
