Tina: Yes… that’s why we painted this room a pastel yellow… it can be for a boy or a girl…
Linda: Ok… Bette get the boarder rolls… and let’s get this done… Tina go with your father…
Tina: When ever your ready daddy…
Bette was amazed watching Linda… as soon as they knew where the boarder would go; she when right to work and in no time the first roll was in place…
Bette: You are good…
Linda: I love doing this… we could also do the Kitchen and bathrooms if you wanted…
Bette: We may be doing that… look at this… its looks like a baby’s room already…
By the time Tina and Frank returned… they were done… and had 3 rolls to spare…
Bette: Well I guess I’ll be returning these…
Linda: keep them together… I have a feeling you’ll be going to Babies-R-Us a few times…
Bette: yeah… I know it too…
Tina: Wow… You’re done already…
Bette: Piece of cake…
Tina: thanks mom…
Bette: Well I helped…
Tina: I know you did babe… dad needs help outside… maybe I should call James… its heavy…
Walking outside…
Linda: Don’t worry, we can open the boxes outside and bring it in, in pieces…
Bette: I think that’s what we should do…
Before they knew it all the boxes were emptied and then filled back up in the nursery… Bette just stood there looking lost…
Frank: Bette if you want I would love to help you put all of this together…
Bette: Oh Thank God…
Tina: Relax babe… I know we would of figured it out… sooner or later…
They instructions were found and in no time it looked like a crib… Bette had this look of pride on her face… Frank let her do most of it…
Bette: Look Tee…
Tina: Its looks beautiful…
Linda: and now the mattress… Yeah… now all we need is the baby…
Tina: Soon mom…
Bette: Well let’s finish and get the dresser done…
Soon the room was just about ready… Tina was putting clothes in drawers… and hanging some in the closet…
Linda: they look so adorable… the little dresses and suits… I kind of wish you were having twins… a boy and a girl…
Tina: Thanks Mom… but one at a time is enough… thank you…
Bette: Oh God… please one at a time…

The rest of the week went by and Linda and Frank were getting ready to go home before the New Years rush…
Tina: I can’t thank you enough for all the help…
Bette: I second that…
Soon they were all hugging and kissing each other goodbye and they were on their way…
Bette: I am going to miss them… but I also missed being alone with you …
Tina: me too… on both points… How about taking a nap before tonight…
Bette: Good idea… and if Kit wasn’t playing tonight… I think we would of stayed home…
Tina: That’s the truth… but it could be our last New Years party for a few years…
Bette: well we could always get babysitters…
Tina: I know, but I like staying home and watching the New Year come in… just the two of us… and next year with our baby in our arms…
Bette: That’s a date… let’s get you to bed…
Bette led Tina into the bedroom and helped her get undressed and under the covers…
Tina: Aren’t you joining me
Bette: Soon… I just wanted to straighten up a few things and make sure the doors are locked… you sleep…
Tina: Ok but don’t keep me waiting too long…
Bette leans in and kisses her and then she leaves the room… Bette wanted to order the pedestal for her sculpture… so she went back to her computer and found the site and ordered it… she then checked the doors and grabbed 2 bottles of water and headed back to the bedroom… Tina was sleeping very peacefully… she had been sleeping about an hour, so Bette striped and crawled into bed… Tina automatically moved into her arms… not even opening her eyes… soon Bette was also asleep…

Mary! I knew you said you “might” post tonight, but hot damn woman you DID!! Of course you have been missed. It’s great to see you back, and I was happy to hear how much better you sounded tonight. Anyway, I just gotta tell ya, Bette is going to make the cutest Mommy! She is all excited over the baby book, and all the fun stuff that you get to prepare for over those 9 months. I can’t even imagine what I will be like! As for the baby pics, thanks for sharing them hun. The baby is simply beautiful!! Ness said she had A LOT more hair that the little bambino she used to nanny for. xoxo Post again soon Mary!
