They both made their way around the room… Anthony spotted Melvin and led Kit over to him…
Anthony: Melvin… it’s good to see you again… and I would love to introduce you to Kit…
Melvin: No introductions are necessary…
Kit: Anthony… Melvin is my father…
Anthony: What… I never put the last names together… Oh My God… Melvin you have three very talented daughters…
Melvin: I only have two daughters…
Anthony: No three… Kit, Bette and Tina… and soon a little one… Grandpa…
Melvin: No I have two daughters… if you will excuse me… I have an important phone call to make…
Kit: Not a problem… please don’t bother hurrying back… oh and I will be in touch… well my lawyer will… I think my son needs to be with his mother…
Melvin: Over my dead body…
Kit: Either way… works for me…
Kit turns around and walks in the direction of Bette and Tina… she also pulls Anthony with her…
Kit: I’ll fill you in later baby… right now nothing is going to ruin this evening…
Anthony: Lead the way…

The evening went by… not fast enough for Tina… she was tired… and Bette knew it…
Bette: Lets go home baby…
Tina: It’s early Bette… we can’t… ok we shouldn’t…
Bette: Believe me Kit will understand… its been a long week…
Tina: No kidding… ok lets say goodbye and slip out…
After all the goodbyes.. Bette helps Tina into the car and they were on their way home…
Tina: I’m sorry Bette… I was supposed to drive home…
Bette: I only had 2 glasses of wine… and I’m fine… so just close your eyes and take a nap…
Bette waited for Tina to respond… but she was sound asleep… Pulling into their driveway…
Tina: We’re home already…
Bette: yep… wait let me help you…
Bette settled Tina into bed… closed the lights and made sure the doors were locked… and she joined Tina… who again was fast asleep…

The rest of the weekend fly by… and it was Christmas Eve morning…
Tina: Thank God mom is coming over today… I don’t think I could cook…
Bette: Well its a small group tonight… most of the girls are going home…
Tina: I feel sorry for Shane…
Bette: So do I… but she has us… and I have you and baby Tee…
Tina: For the rest of or lives… and this year I am glad its a small group… and even tomorrow… its just a few of us…

Congratulations Doesn’t just make you melt?? Poor Tina is only 6 months and seems so tired. Tina is going to have her hands full with Bette and a baby. Who will be the bigger one??? Melvin is a complete__________. thanks for posting Hope you begin to feel Better. Walking always helped me with my hip and back. Setting was hard getting up was harder thanks again

Hello AMG, Many congratulations on being a grandma. I am sure little Mackenzie Lynn will bring so much joy to all the family. Such a wonderful addition. As for this delicious tale; adorable to see this soft and loving side of Bette. TIna really brings out the best in Bette. Her generousity know no bounds for their child. Material gifts do have a place but being there to comfort and cuddle Tina are the most important. Never underestimate the value of time shared together.
