Bette: Lets get showered and dressed… Mom and Dad should be here soon…

Mom and dad arrived early… and soon the house was filled of all delicious smells…
Tina: I love all the sweet smelling desserts…
Linda: I made a few different things this year… found some interesting recipes… thought I would give them a try…
Bette: Well if they taste as good as they smell… you made a good choice…
Linda had everything all set… Bette helped a lot… while Tina sat with her feet up and trying to help from the couch… with the table now all set… Linda takes a seat next to her daughter…
Linda: Looks like we are ready…
Tina: Lisa, Kit, James, and Shane should be here soon…
Frank: I’m going to miss Alice today…
Linda: I’m sure she will pass by before tomorrow night is over…
Tina: I’m sure…
Bette was busy putting gifts under the Christmas tree… Tina had her eyes closed… Frank also was napping… Linda just watched her family… Bette would glance over to see if anyone was watching her… and no one was so she continued… Linda would glance over every now and then… she had a feeling she knew what Bette was doing… she gets up quietly and walks over to the Christmas tree..
Linda: Looks like you have been busy shopping…
Bette: I have… I couldn’t help myself…
Linda: Who and what did you buy for…
Bette: The baby…
Linda: (Looking)… looks like an even amount for a boy or a girl…
Bette: Of course… it doesn’t matter… because hopefully the next baby will be the opposite of what we have now…
Linda: Really…
Bette: Yes… we talked about it and we both want our children close in age… with me and Kit… there was too many years… and when I watch Lisa and Tina… its close to perfect…
Linda: They are about 4 years apart… no its close to 5 years… not like I didn’t try to have them closer… I miscarried a baby in between them…
Bette: I didn’t know that…
Linda: I don’t think Tina knows that… but I am very happy with both of my daughters…
Bette: Ever wish one was a boy…
Linda: I guess it would of been nice to have a little boy… but we take what we get…
Bette: True… but I can still hope this one is a little girl… I can’t wait to hold her in my arms… I love it when she moves… its the best feeling… and I also have a good feeling she is going to be a carbon copy of Tina…
Linda: Wait till you feel what it feels like from the other side…
Bette: (Smiling)… some times I get scared… but then all I have to do is look or think of Tina… and all my fears fade away…
Linda: You know … this baby could be a little blond… Lou’s mom is also a blond…
Bette: I know… we are going to have my little Tee…
In the other room… Tina wakes up and listens to them talking… she smiles… she loves listening to Bette talk about the baby… and as if right on cue… the baby agrees…

Congratulations Doesn’t just make you melt?? Poor Tina is only 6 months and seems so tired. Tina is going to have her hands full with Bette and a baby. Who will be the bigger one??? Melvin is a complete__________. thanks for posting Hope you begin to feel Better. Walking always helped me with my hip and back. Setting was hard getting up was harder thanks again

Hello AMG, Many congratulations on being a grandma. I am sure little Mackenzie Lynn will bring so much joy to all the family. Such a wonderful addition. As for this delicious tale; adorable to see this soft and loving side of Bette. TIna really brings out the best in Bette. Her generousity know no bounds for their child. Material gifts do have a place but being there to comfort and cuddle Tina are the most important. Never underestimate the value of time shared together.
