Bette walked into the CAC… Helena was surprised to see her…
Helena: Good morning Bette… I thought you were going to take a few days off…
Bette: James e mailed me and said I have an appointment, it was yesterday… but I couldn’t get out of bed, so he changed it to today… any idea who it is…
Helena: not a clue… that’s strange… you don’t remember booking it…
Bette: nope… oh well, I’m feeling a lot better this morning… so a few hours won’t be too bad…
Bette: James what time is my appointment… and can you tell me who it’s with…
James: the book says 9am…
James walks away…
Bette just watches him… WTF… James you never said who it was with…
James: (Holding up his cell) Sorry Bette… but I have to take this call…
Helena: that’s strange… I always thought he was a little off and today confirms it…
Bette: oh well I guess I can wait 10 minutes…
Helena: true… and now I can’t wait to see who is coming…
9:00am…
James: Bette your 9:00 appointment is here…
Bette: James… (No answer)… ok send them in…
Bette waits and no one is entering her office… she walks to the door and looks around… no one is even out there… She was just about to scream for James… when she sees Lexi walking around the Gallery…
Bette: Mom… what brings you here this early… I would have bet you were also nursing a hangover along with Linda…
Lexi: I’m fine dear… Linda on the other hand, well she enjoyed the wine last night…
Bette: good… its nice to see my "Mom’s" getting along… I would love to chat, but I am looking for James… seems I have an appointment and I don’t know who or where this appointment is taking place…
Lexi: maybe I can help you out… Hi my name is Lexi my pen name is "4Lizziebette"… and I am interested in showing my work…
