Linda: but to leave her daughter…
Tina: I wish I had the answers…
Bette: hey Tee… you about ready…
They both hug and kiss Tessa… and they were out the door…

Linda changes Tessa…
Well baby girl how about we go for a walk… and see your Auntie Kit… maybe she has some answers about your other Grandma… but we can’t tell either of your mommies… well unless we find out some good news… and of course I check it out… what do you say… lets play detective…

“The Planet” was just calming down when Linda walked in with Tessa… a few of the customers stopped and commented on the baby… all saying the same thing… what a beautiful baby… and how did they have a baby that looks so much like both Bette and Tina…
Kit walked over and un-strapped the baby and proudly walked her all around… showing her off to people she didn’t even know…that didn’t matter… this baby made every one’s heart melt…
Alice: hey mom… you just missed “The Cleavers”…
Linda: cute Alice… and I knew we wouldn’t make it in time…
Alice: oh… did something happen…
Linda: nothing happened… Tessa wanted to go for a walk… and here we are…
Alice: Oh… hmmmmmm… since no one else is here… outside of Kit… I may get a chance to actually hold and play with my niece…
Linda: be my guest…
Kit walks back and hands the baby to a surprised Alice…
Kit: Here you go Auntie Alice…
Alice looked like a deer in the headlights…
Linda: relax Alice… she won’t break… just watch her back and neck… just like that…
Alice: its not so bad…
Linda just realized that Alice was just like Bette… never really held a baby before…
Linda: see… you’re a pro now… I’ll be right back… will you be ok
Alice: we are fine… aren’t we…
Linda walks away and she hears Alice taking baby talk…
Kit: you think its wise leaving Alice all alone with Tessa…
Linda: I think so… besides we are both right here… I do have a question for you… if your not to busy…

This was a great chapter Amanda. I always felt sorry for Bette and if I could have beaten Melvin for what he did to Bette and her mother, I would have. I hate men that abuse women and children, now I’ve started hating him all over again. I hope Tina’s mom can find her, and if she does, I hope Bette can accept her. It wasn’t her fault that she left and that old bastard always threatened her if she tried to see Bette. Hope you let them reunite in your story. Great chapter. Thanks for posting.
