Harmony: “Uhhhhh. I am exhausted.”
Bette: “Well this party is going well.”
Harmony: “Its ok I guess.”
Bette: “What could you possibly see wrong.”
Harmony: “The staff is wearing the wrong uniforms. The bar line is going in the wrong direction so its running into the dance floor. The palm readers look like Dionne Warwick instead of Ms. Cleo. Shall I continue?”
Bette laughed. She grabbed a glass of champagne and handed it to Harmony.
Bette: “Here drink.”
She did as she was told. Bette turned around and stood next to Harmony.
Bette: “Look around you. Do you see all these people having fun? They’re having a lot of fun. And it’s all because of you. It’s a great party. I think I heard Billy Zane say ‘whooooo party!’.”
Harmony laughed.
Harmony: “I guess your right.”
She turned back and faced Bette.
Harmony: “but what about you? Are you having fun?”
Bette: “I’m having a great time. I’ve met so many people. It feels good to hob knob again. Thank you.”
Harmony: “Well I’m proud to have you here with me.”
She and Bette looked into each others eyes.
Bette: “I’m proud to be your date.”
Harmony: “Well date, what you say we dance a bit.”
Bette: “Sounds like a plan”
After they had danced a bit Brady came and interrupted.
Brady: “Well you did it again Scott.”
Harmony: “Was there any doubt?”
Brady: “A little actually. Who’s your friend here?”
Harmony: “Nick Brady this is Bette Porter. Bette Porter, Nick Brady.”
Bette: “Pleased to meet you.”
Brady: “Oh no the pleasures all mine.”
He kissed Bette’s hand.
Harmony: “Bette used to work for the CAC.”
Brady: “Used to.”
Bette: “My contract was bought out.”
Harmony: “Bette here is responsible for Provocations.”
Brady: “You put that together? I loved that exhibit”
Harmony knew Brady was an art buff. She dropped a bug in his ear on purpose.
Bette: “Thank you.”
Brady: “Mm hmm.”
He winked at Harmony.
Brady: “Well you kids have fun. Scott, I’ll be talking to you.”

I will say again I love the story and I really do want to see B&T together again. But right now Bette is extremely HAPPY and I love that. Harmony has given her that old Porter confidence back and put a bit of starch in her step. That is great for Bette. Sorry Tina, you may have waited too late to be jealous. Let Bette be happy. Ooooh My God…That was just brillant..Chapter 3 and already im lovin it..lol..Well it seems Tina got what she wanted ..and now….Well Tina be careful what you wish for babe!!!Anyone that can make “The Hot One” Feel good again is very welcome…and if she`s Tall, Hot, and sexy well then we`ll all feel good…lol…keep it comin!

So i just read the first three chapters and i hope you continue with this story. It is good to see Bette get her swagger back. And how dare Tina act all jealous now whe some hot lady is showinh and interest in Bette. Tina had to know that Bette wouldn’t just sit around forever while Tina got her groove on w/ men. Post soon.
I love to see Bette being happy. But now I kind of think she and Tina should go back together finally. The HS thing is too splendid and surreal. It’ll burn out soon. Of course, it’s a great journey for Bette to find her alphaness back.

Everyone comes into our lives for a reason. Whether it is for 30 seconds, 30 minutes, or 30 years…there is always a reason. Maybe Harmony is just in Bette’s life to remind her of who she is…maybe she is here for longer. I will wait along with everyone else to find out how long Harmony’s visit into Bette’s life will last. Wow!!! This is great. Bette Porter is back!!! This is good, especially after Tina’s treatment has been making her doubt herself. And finding out about her nickname “Hot Stuff” has got to be a tremendous ego boost. Keep on posting… I can hardly wait for your next chapter.
