Harmony: There she is.
Reporter 1: “Ms. Scott, Ms. Scott! Over here! How was it working with Nick Brady again?”
Harmony: “Just like old times.”
Reporter 2: “What’s the theme this year?”
Harmony: “Carnival”
Reporter 3: “I see you’re here with Bette Porter. How do you know each other? Is this another one of your infamous ladies?”
Harmony looked at Bette a little annoyed then smiled.
Harmony: “We’re good friends.”
Reporter 4: “Ms. Scott”
Harmony: “That’s enough for tonight guys. I have a party to attend.”
She placed her hand on Bette’s back and led her into the large front door. Harmony was the picture of poise and professionalism. She answered the questions quickly and made sure Bette was ok in the process. They entered the lobby and Harmony stopped and turned to Bette.
Harmony: “You ok?”
Bette: “I’m fine”
She said with a smile.
Harmony: “Ok good’
Bette: “Another one of your ladies?”
Bette teased. Harmony rolled her eyes.
Harmony: “Pleases don’t listen to those vultures. They know nothing about me.”
Bette: “It’s ok. I feel kind of privileged.”
Harmony laughed.
Harmony: “Oh please. Let’s go.”
She extended her arm and Bette took it. They walked across the lobby and to and elevator. Harmony swiped a card and the elevator opened. They entered and went to the 22 floor. When the doors opened Bette thought she was in another world. She felt she was in an exotic West Indian slash American carnival parade. The walls were covered with ornate fabric from ceiling to the floor. It was like a huge genie bottle. They slowly began to walk through the party. There were men on large stilts, fire blowers, women doing acrobats above theirs heads like Circe de ole, and beautiful women walking around and dancing in large feather and sequenced costumes. Harmony couldn’t take 2 steps without being approached and congratulated. There were waiters walking around with champagne and finger food. Harmony spoke to people, made jokes, and was unbelievably charming. Bette sat back and watched her do her thing. Harmony would from time to time notice something wrong and quietly scold a staff member. No matter how busy Harmony got she was still attentive to Bette. She introduced her to everyone she spoke to. Bette even recognized a few from the art world. She made sure Bette had something to eat and drink at all times. After a few hrs. they got a free moment together.

I will say again I love the story and I really do want to see B&T together again. But right now Bette is extremely HAPPY and I love that. Harmony has given her that old Porter confidence back and put a bit of starch in her step. That is great for Bette. Sorry Tina, you may have waited too late to be jealous. Let Bette be happy. Ooooh My God…That was just brillant..Chapter 3 and already im lovin it..lol..Well it seems Tina got what she wanted ..and now….Well Tina be careful what you wish for babe!!!Anyone that can make “The Hot One” Feel good again is very welcome…and if she`s Tall, Hot, and sexy well then we`ll all feel good…lol…keep it comin!

So i just read the first three chapters and i hope you continue with this story. It is good to see Bette get her swagger back. And how dare Tina act all jealous now whe some hot lady is showinh and interest in Bette. Tina had to know that Bette wouldn’t just sit around forever while Tina got her groove on w/ men. Post soon.
I love to see Bette being happy. But now I kind of think she and Tina should go back together finally. The HS thing is too splendid and surreal. It’ll burn out soon. Of course, it’s a great journey for Bette to find her alphaness back.

Everyone comes into our lives for a reason. Whether it is for 30 seconds, 30 minutes, or 30 years…there is always a reason. Maybe Harmony is just in Bette’s life to remind her of who she is…maybe she is here for longer. I will wait along with everyone else to find out how long Harmony’s visit into Bette’s life will last. Thanks!!

well, well, well, it seems that Bette is less masculine and more of a femine in this story. i like it, i like it a lot. great story once again you entertained me, and i also am looking foward to a MKbette sequal, till then ta ta!

Wow!!! This is great. Bette Porter is back!!! This is good, especially after Tina’s treatment has been making her doubt herself. And finding out about her nickname “Hot Stuff” has got to be a tremendous ego boost. Keep on posting… I can hardly wait for your next chapter.
