Councilor: Thank you Ms. Moore. Now girls, I’m happy to introduce to you Mrs. Alexandra McCutcheon. You all know her as a basketball star and the model from the girls sporting goods store, but she ahs another talent that she’s here to share. Ms. McCutcheon?

Alex looked down at her marshmallow that was on fire. She quickly blew it out.

Alex: My secret talent apparently is burning marshmallows.

The girls laughed.

Alex: And please, Alex. I’m not much older than these girls. Oh and my talent, yeah um, I think I left it at home. It’s roaming around in my Disney movies. I think somewhere in Aladdin? How’d you guys like to hear “Ms. Moore” and I sing the Aladdin duet A Whole New World?

They all applauded, then Mandy struck the first chord.

Alex walked in, her arm around Alice before shutting and locking the door.

Alice: Why do you have to be such a smart ass all the time?

Alex: Because it’s fun. I only do it with stuck-up people to watch them squirm. Did you see that lady’s face when I called Mandy Ms. Moore? It was priceless.

Alice: I thought for sure she was gonna stick you with the fire poker.

They laughed. Then Alex turned to her wife.

Alex: So, here we are, BAMless for the night, what do we do?

Alice: I don’t know. It’s off without him here.

Alex: Yea, nice of Casey and Rory to take him though.

Alice: Very.

They looked around, then Alice spotted the TV.

Alice: How about a movie?

Alex: Sounds good. Should we watch our new grown-up movie?

Alice: Alex McCutcheon, you read my mind. Go get it and I’ll make the popcorn.

Alex smiled and ran off. They met back at he couch, with the movie on play. Alex settled down with her head in Alice’s lap. Alice gently stroked her hair.

Alice: What is this anyway?

Alex: A new one Dave told me we’d like.
