Meanwhile at Tina’s House

Tina had just taken a shower and picked out a white top with some black slacks and flip flops…Her ankles are swollen from her standing on her feet so much at the Youth Center…The time is now 2:15 and she knows that she may not see Bette until about 3:00 even though she told her that she could come earlier…So while waiting for Bette she poured herself a glass of pelligrino water and sat by the window watching the leaves as they fell from the trees…

At the CAC

Bette calls James to her office over the intercom

Bette:James could you please come to my office

KNOCK! KNOCK!

Bette:Come in

Helena:Bette…I just stopped by to see how the ideas pertaining to the budget was going?…Do you have a budget yet?

Bette doesn’t even want to answer Helena…If she would have known that it was her she wouldn’t have even answer the door(looks up from her desk to Helena)

Bette:Yes Helena I have a budget

Helena:Really well I would appreciate it if you can discuss your ideas and your budget over with Leo and I will get back to you if I have any questions

Bette:Thank you Helena…But I don’t need to discuss my ideas with Leo…I am the director of the CAC…And if anything Leo should be sitting down discussing his ideas with me…And then I will bring the ideas to you as well as the other board memebers

Helena:(smiling at Bette)Well I see…then(Helena is cut off by James)

James:Bette(looking at Helena and back to Bette)you wanted to see me?

Helena:Bette you and I will finish this at another time(leaving Bette’s office)

Bette:Perfect timing…(rubbing her forward)yes anyway James if possible could you please cancel my 3:00 and 3:30 appointment today I have to meet with Tina today and I won’t have time to get back to the office…If there are any problems just call me on my cell and let me know

James:Ok boss…Good luck with Tina

Bette:Thank you James…Thank you

Bette leaves work early and heads over to Tina’s…She remembered to put the wine and flowers in the car while she was on her lunch break…Bette looks at her watch again and it is 2:45…She is due at Tina’s in a few and she hopes that what she has to say to Tina that Tina will listen and understand her…Without no communication there is no understanding…(Bette’s cellphone goes off)
