    Author Notes:

    B&T 9 years after season 1: Bette and Tina have a lot on their minds.

     

    Eli: "Well we were supposed to go to California Adventure, but Mrs. Stevenson has been sick. So we haven’t been able to follow the vacation schedule. We kind of had a free day."

     

    Tina: "Oh that’s too bad I know how much you were looking forward to your trip to California. Do you think Mrs. Stevenson is going to be getting better anytime soon?"

     

    Eli: "I don’t think so the hotel doctor told Mr. Stevenson that she probably has the flu, and should stay in bed and rest for a few days."

     

    Tina: "I’m sorry Eli, do you want me to fly down sooner so we can start our vacation together?"

     

    Eli: "Mom I was hoping that I could stay here for awhile…I…I met with someone today and I was hoping that I could see them again tomorrow."

     

    Tina: "You met someone, you mean like a girl, because last time we talked you said that you didn’t really like girls that way yet. Have you changed your mind?"

     

    Eli: "NO, I didn’t meet a…mom do you remember a long time ago when you told me that sometimes we do things for the people we love so that they could be happy and that sometimes when you’re doing it you’re not really sure if your doing the right or wrong thing, but we have to trust what our heart is telling us?"

     

    Tina: "Of course I remember that’s what I told you when Adrian came to live with us after his mom died, and we later had to let him go so he could live with his Aunt."

     

    Eli: "I know I was really sad that he had to leave, but when he did leave it was o.k. because he was happy living with his Aunt and he still is…Mom I did something that I thought would make you happy."

     

    Tina: "What are you talking about honey I am happy. You’ve made me so happy, I don’t need anything else."

     

    Eli: "I know you’re happy, but sometimes I wish you could have someone who could take away that sad look you get in your eyes when you think I’m not looking. That’s why I did what I did, but that’s not the only reason."

    1. I took a chance and checked one last time before leaving work, and yeah you had posted. Cannot believe you have just left me hanging again. I’m so excited, and can’t wait till that first hello. It gives me goose bumps thinking about it, wait till the gang meets Eli. Hopefully you’ll have posted again when I come in to work.

    12. I very much appreciate you taking the time to post this chapter. But you have to tell your instructor that you can not do the project because you have this other project to do first. I am really loving this story and now I will have a heart attack because the wait will seem like forever. My heart is pounding just waiting to see how Bette is going to react to Tina’s voice. I know that you can not post too soon but really try please.

    13. You can’t finish the project on time, that you have hundreds of fans waiting to see what happens in this story. Give Him the story and you will be forgiven for being late. I love this child so honest,and smart and loves his mom so much. The sad part is he will love Bette just as much.and she him. Hope that Tina will let Eli spend a lot of time with Bette. thanks
