    B&T 9 years after season 1: Bette and Tina have a lot on their minds.

     

    Shane: "Man you’ve got it bad, last time I heard you talking like this you ended up turning your back on life as a single stud and committed your life to a gorgeous blond the only difference now is that you fell for the gorgeous blonde’s son. You seem to have a soft spot for Kennards."

     

    Bette: "Oh Shane if you had met him it’d be you who was singing his praises…he’s such a great kid. I can’t wait to learn more about him. And he told me that he was going to come clean with Grace and I’m sure she’ll tell Tina, but until then it’s out of my hands."

     

    Shane: "O.k. you just lost me, who’s Grace and what’s her connection to Tina?"

     

    Bette: "Well Eli referred to her as ‘Aunt Grace’ but I’m pretty sure it’s Grace Ferrara Tina’s old college roommate. Grace was Tina’s closest friend and one of the few that stuck around after Tina started to go out with me. Anyway if Eli’s telling Grace everything then it’s a pretty safe bet that Tina’s going to be filled in pretty soon. Eli said he’d call me tonight after talking to Grace, so I’ll wait to hear from him and I’ll decide how to proceed after."

     

    Shane: "What time did he say he’d call?"

     

    Bette: "He didn’t really say but it should be later on tonight. So I have a few hours to kill, I was going to order some take out and stare at the phone for awhile, do you want to keep me company?"

     

    Shane: "Why not with Carmen and Anna gone the house feels too empty besides Carmen’s not supposed to call my cell until 8 tonight at least this way we can wait together."

     

    Bette: "God things have really changed…who would have thought that both of us would ever be staying home on a Saturday night waiting on phone calls and that we’d be happy to do it. Come on Shane let’s go inside and order some food it feels like it’s going to be a long night."

     

     


    A few hours later (Eli’s already talked to Aunt Grace):

    1. I took a chance and checked one last time before leaving work, and yeah you had posted. Cannot believe you have just left me hanging again. I’m so excited, and can’t wait till that first hello. It gives me goose bumps thinking about it, wait till the gang meets Eli. Hopefully you’ll have posted again when I come in to work.

    4. SWEET……now the next chapter is gonna be filled with lots of anxiety, so maybe in the chapter after that we’ll get some where…..i hope. POST SOON!!!!

    12. I very much appreciate you taking the time to post this chapter. But you have to tell your instructor that you can not do the project because you have this other project to do first. I am really loving this story and now I will have a heart attack because the wait will seem like forever. My heart is pounding just waiting to see how Bette is going to react to Tina’s voice. I know that you can not post too soon but really try please.

    13. You can’t finish the project on time, that you have hundreds of fans waiting to see what happens in this story. Give Him the story and you will be forgiven for being late. I love this child so honest,and smart and loves his mom so much. The sad part is he will love Bette just as much.and she him. Hope that Tina will let Eli spend a lot of time with Bette. thanks
