    Well, where do I begin? Why don’t you just read it and make up your own summery?

    Her voice is still weak, but strong at the same time.

    “I honestly don’t know. I didn’t think I was hiding anything, I mean” Bette says.

    “Is there more I don’t know?” Tina asks a little more seriously.

    “No, nothing other than I shoplifted once when I was 10.” Bette says. That made Tina smile a little. “I never kept that from you intentionally, you have to believe that. I would never do anything to hurt you.” Bette says, starting to cry harder again. “I hate myself right now.” Bette says.

    “Don’t. This could’ve happened anytime.” Tina says.

    “Why are you so calm about this? You’re paralyzed Tina.” Bette says, still holding onto Tina’s hand.

    “I know this isn’t permanent. I have to believe that. And I know that you’re here with me.” Tina says with a slight smile on her face. “Oh my” Tina says suddenly.

    “What?” Bette asks a little startled.

    “Work, I have to call work.” Tina says.

    “You’re thinking of work right now?” Bette asks curiously.

    “I was supposed to be in a meeting at three. What time is it now?” Tina asks.
    “It’s five. I’ll go and call Mr. Davies and tell him why you never showed up. And maybe tell the girls that you’re out of the blue.” Bette says.

    “Okay, I’m sure I soon will get fired. I haven’t done anything for four weeks or so.” Tina says giving Bette a little smile. “And now, if this is permanent, I won’t be able to work, at least not in that job.” Tina says as her voice saddens a little.

    “You’ll be okay. I’ll be right back.” Bette says and leans down and kisses Tina softly on the lips. “I love you.” She says and walks out.

    Bette walks out to the waiting area where the girls are waiting. They all jumps up when they see Bette approaching.

    “How is she?” Alice asks.

    “She’s okay, she’s awake, but she’s paralyzed.” Bette says as the words finally got to her, she breaks down in Dana’s arms.

    Shane and Alice stands there with their mouths open.

    “Permanently?” Shane asks quietly.

    “They don’t know yet. We have to pray that it will go away.” Bette says between her sobs. “I have to call Tina’s work.” Bette says and walks over to the phones.

    5. I believe all the Mothers on the site will tell you the same thing Studt first Lets see so A’s and some B’s then you can make us happy by writing for us, It will be awhile but Bette and Tina will make it. Thanks for writing.

    8. i am so sad for Tina and i knew it Bette got out the room to cry but now she must to stay strong for both of them and Tina will need her love and suport more than ever that means no golf for a while but i have the same wish of snQQpy that Tina will walk by next chapter right??

    9. Ok, I just caught up. In the beginning, I was really upset with Tina’s reaction, but I guess we all have things that we don’t tell each other. Than again, how could she not notice? Don’t know why this would be such a big issue; you love the person. Anyway, glad that Tina is alive, you had me worried there for a second. I truly hope that she recovers fully. Are there things that Tina hasn’t told Bette??

    13. This was sad, but I hope that Tina will recover to full strenght. Maybe this is good for these two to realize that they cannot be seperated no matter what and that they will share everything with each other. Great chapter although a little sad. Kiitos!

    14. Heartbreaking, but glad they aren’t too proud to make things harder on each other. Glad that they are talking and supporting one another through their hurt. I’m hoping that Tina’s paralysis is only temporary. I really like this Dana. She’s not so goofy, and very supportive of her friend.

    17. you know when dificult times shows up is when we truly know who loves us and care about us..and for Tina this is a prove that Bette really loves her and care about her..love beyond words and hard times..Bette need to stop blame herself.. when things are write to happen noone could stop is destiny..i still have faith on you Lauren and know Tina will be able to walk again and realize all the plains Bette and her have made..ok amazing but sad chapter please post as soon as you can i know you need time to school..lol..

    19. Lauren..great chapter. It is sad, but Bette needs to stop blaming herself for what happened. I’m glad Bette & Tina are talking and not making it difficult for one another. Sometimes their prides get in the way. Thanks again for the chapter Lauren…I really don’t mind short chapters, because I really do love your story. What’s important is that you take care of yourself and do your homework. ;-)

    21. i know you won’t let us down… remember to study first and when you have the time… write… (i know it’s the mother in me… but school is life… and we will be here for you) so study hard…
