Both boys raises their hands and yells “me, me.”
“Okay, let’s go then.” Tina says and smiles over at Bette. They each climb into the car and tries to buckle up but fails. So Bette and Tina help them out.
On their way they stop by the Center to pick up Andrea.
Tina walks in.
“Hey, angel. Ready to go?” Tina asks as she takes a running Andrea into her arms.
“Yes, mommy.” Andrea replies and clings to Tina’s neck.
Tina took Andrea’s bag and then left and walks out. She put Andrea in her car seat and buckles her up.
“Are we going now?” Danny asks a little impatiently.
“Yes, sweetie, we’re going now.” Bette says and drives off towards the club.
“Oh I forgot to call Julia, could you call her? Or Jessie?” Bette asks.
“Sure.” Tina says and picks up her phone and dials Jessie’s number.
“Hello?” Jessie replies.
“Hey, Jess, it’s me Tina. How are you holding up?” Tina asks.
“I’m okay, doing better.” Jessie replies.
“That’s good… Are you and Julia doing anything today, tonight?” Tina asks.
“No, why?” Jessie asks.
“Well, we’re on our way over to the club, we’re starting a new tradition. Family night at the club, a nice dinner and golfing activities later or before.” Tina says.
“Oh, that sounds like fun.” Jessie says and smiles.
“Good, so why don’t you come on over. We’re about 10 minutes away, soon pulling into the parking lot.” Tina says.
“Okay, thank you. We’ll be there soon.” Jessie says and hangs up.
“They’ll be here soon. Jessie sounded a little better than she did last time I spoke to her.” Tina says.
“That’s good. And this evening will get her minds off of it too.” Bette says and takes Tina’s hand and softly kisses it.
“Yeah. Let’s hope so.” Tina says and smiles back.
They pull into the parking lot at the club. They get the kids out. Danny and Noah starts running towards the entrance right away.
“Boys, you know what we think of running around cars.” Tina calls out.
“Sorry mommy.” They both says and sits down on the stairs up to the front door.
Tina lifts out Andrea and take the diaper bag and a clothing bag for the kids.

That is so sweet a family night out. Every family should try it if not weekly then a couple of times a month. Glad you got Peggy in the picture. Maybe Helena will leave Tina alone. She want a ready made family. Heck you have got to work hard to have a family and a home. thanks

The family night was very successful. I love how the whole immediate family was together. It is nice to see how the boys are close to Bette and How Andrea is close to Tina. Loved it when Andrea went to her sister Julia and wanted to sit with her. Nice story.
