4 hours later, Bette walks through the door at home with food in her hands.
“T? Baby, you’re here?” Bette calls out.
“Yeah, babe, I’ll be right there.” She calls back.
She walks in a few moments later, towel drying her hair.
“Sorry, I took a quick shower.” Tina says and smiles as she walks towards Bette.
“That’s okay, wow you look great.” Bette says and leans in for a kiss.
“Thanks.” Tina replies.
“I brought food, are you hungry?” She asks and takes it into the kitchen.
“Yeah, I’m starving.” Tina replies. “I’m just going to put on some clothes, I’ll be right back. Bette takes the food into the kitchen and takes it out of the containers and put it onto different plates. She carries it to the table and takes a seat on her usual place.
Tina walks back into the kitchen. She leans down and places a soft kiss on Bette’s lips. Bette looks a little nervous as she put some food onto her plate.
Tina notice it.
“Babe, is something wrong?” She asks.
“Nothing is wrong but I do have some bad news.” Bette says.
“What?” Tina asks a little concerned.
“I have to go away for almost two weeks.” Bette says and holds her breath for Tina’s reaction.
“Oh two weeks?” Tina asks.
“Yeah, ten nights.” Bette says.
“When?” Tina asks.
“In two days, it starts in three days but I have to be there from the start. Which are early in the morning.” Bette says.
“I’m not going to go out tonight.” Tina says.
“T, yes you are.” Bette replies with a raised eyebrow.
“Bette, you’re going to be away for almost two weeks, I want to spend the two days with you. I can go out with Alice and Shane when you’re away.” Tina says and looks at Bette with pleading eyes.
Bette smiles and takes Tina’s hand in hers.
“I’ll go and call Shane, I’ll be right back.” Tina says and stands up and kisses Bette.
Bette smiles. Tina picks up the phone and dials Shane’s number.
“Shane it’s
“Hi, changed your mind?” Shane asks and smiles.
“Yeah, Bette came home now and told me she’s going away for almost two weeks, she leaves in two days. I want to spend those two days with her. I’ll come with you when she’s away.” Tina says.
“Sure, I think we have a few planes the coming weeks, so. I’ll call.” Shane says.
“Thanks, say hi to Alice and Dana from
“I will. Say hi to Bette for me.” Shane replies.
“I will. Bye.” Tina says and hangs up.
She walks back into the kitchen and sits down again.
“It was okay that you cancelled” Bette asks.
“Yeah. So what do you want to do?” Tina asks.
“Well, for starters, finish dinner.” Bette says and smiles.
“Oh yeah, off course.” Tina replies and lets out a little giggle.

humm..i dont know but i dont think Bette choose the right job cuz she still have the same “travel life” she should have a job in town she dosent even started and will be out for 2 weeks..thats for sure will be a test for them..im glad Bette and her mom are ok again..cant wait for more thanks Lauren :o)
hey i love your story! its nice to see them happy and all but i miss some of the drama though..and where is Jessie, William ?? i miss him with Bette lol. I wonder how Bette will feel teaching golf and not playing. Post soon :)
Lauren…great chapter. It seems that Bette’s a little concerned about being away from Tina for 2 weeks. It does seem soon considering Martin said there wouldn’t be much traveling in the beginning. Anyway, as long as Bette is with Tina when the baby comes…that’s most important.
