“Okay, but if you change your mind, you still have 7 hours.” Tina says and let out a little laugh.
“Yeah. I need to run over to the club for a few hours. I need to get the lease contract for tomorrow.” Bette says and stands up.
“Oh, yeah.” Tina says and stands up too.
“You can come with me, we could do dinner there?” Bette suggests.
“I’ll pass.” Tina replies.
“You’re not saying no, because I said no, do you?” Bette asks.
“No, I’m not. I’ll do some cleaning, do some laundry.” Tina says and smiles.
“You don’t have to do that now, you can wait until tomorrow, I’ll help you out.” Bette says.
“It’s okay, I like doing it.” Tina says.
“Are you sure?” Bette asks.
“Yes.” Tina says.
“Okay, I’ll bring dinner then.” Bette suggests.
“That I’d like.” Tina says and smiles and leans in for a kiss.
“Okay, I’ll just be a few hours. I have to call mom too.” Bette says.
“Okay. Drive carefully, I want you home in one piece.” Tina says and kiss her softly on the lips.
“I always do.” Bette says and kisses her back, then she grabs her purse and walks out.
She drives over to the club. On her way, she calls her mother.
“Maxine speaking.” She says.
“Hey, mom.” Bette says.
“Oh hi Bette. How are you? How was the honeymoon?” She asks.
“It was amazing, I took her to
“That’s great. So what do I owe this call?” She asks.
“Well, I was wondering if you would like to come back to the club?” Bette says and holds her breath for her mother’s reply.
There is a few seconds of silence.
“Mom?” Bette asks.
“Yes, I’m here. I would like that Bette.” Maxine says.
“Great. I have to tell you that I got a new job, and I’m leasing out the course.” Bette says.
“New job? Leasing out the course?” Maxine asks a little curious.
“Yeah, I’m the new Junior Coach for the National Golf Association. And they are going to use my club as their main training facility.” Bette says.
“Wow Bette, that’s great. Congratulation.” Maxine says.
“Thank you. You’ll have your old job back.” Bette says.

humm..i dont know but i dont think Bette choose the right job cuz she still have the same “travel life” she should have a job in town she dosent even started and will be out for 2 weeks..thats for sure will be a test for them..im glad Bette and her mom are ok again..cant wait for more thanks Lauren :o)
hey i love your story! its nice to see them happy and all but i miss some of the drama though..and where is Jessie, William ?? i miss him with Bette lol. I wonder how Bette will feel teaching golf and not playing. Post soon :)
Lauren…great chapter. It seems that Bette’s a little concerned about being away from Tina for 2 weeks. It does seem soon considering Martin said there wouldn’t be much traveling in the beginning. Anyway, as long as Bette is with Tina when the baby comes…that’s most important.
