“Tina” Chris says and walks over to her and pulls her into a hug. Tears are falling from his eyes too.
“Chris, please don’t cry. I’m going to be okay.” Tina says, softly stroking his back.
“I know” Chris whispers.
Sarah and Chris stay for an hour before they leave. Neither of them has told their father, so they were going to head over there now and tell him.
It is still a few hour until 10 o’clock.
“I’m tired.” Tina says.
“Come on, you should lay down.” Bette says and guides Tina back to bed.
“Will you lay with me?” Tina asks.
“Off course.” Bette replies.
They lay down and Tina falls asleep right away in Bette’s arms. Bette couldn’t sleep, she’s afraid to. Just before 10 o’clock, she feels Tina trembling. She takes a tighter hold of her.
“T?” Bette says softly.
She doesn’t respond, she’s crying.
“Oh baby” Bette whispers and rubs Tina’s back.
Dr. Evans enters, Bette tries to read his expression, but she fails.
“Baby, the doctor is here.” Bette says softly.
Tina looks up and tries to sit up straight.
“Oh, please, stay.” Dr. Evans says.
“So, what did the tests say?” Bette asks.
“I’m sorry, but they came back positive, which means that it is a 90% chance that it’s cancerous. I have scheduled a biopsy tomorrow morning.” Dr. Evans says. “It seems that we’ve caught it early, which is a very good thing.” He continues.
“What happens after the biopsy?” Bette asks with a shaky voice.
“Well, with the biopsy, we get to take out a piece of the tumour. If it is not that big we might attempt to take it all out. Since Tina is in childbearing age we’ll do our best to not remove the ovary. But chemotherapy and radiation will probably follow.” He replies. “We will also remove the fetus in this procedure.” He adds.
Bette nods and looks down on Tina who is still crying.
“Can you see if it was a boy or a girl?” Tina asks silently.
“Yes, we can, do you want that?” He asks.
“Yes, please.” Tina says and cries harder.
“Okay. I’ll let you rest now, get a good night sleep, if you can. The biopsy is tomorrow morning at

i never saw someone cry more than Tina…GEEZZZ give the woman a break..lol..i know Tina will be fine but that “chapter” of her life will be never forgoten, she will be ok but she will never be 100% sure to have a baby again the psychological damage was done BUT she have Bette by her side then everything is possible..your mean Lauren very mean to my poor heart :o(

Lauren..great chapter. A VERY sad chapter. Good to see that B & T and family are there for one another. Maxine was right…Bette has to believe everything is going to be okay…otherwise, Tina will sense it and want to give up. Thanks for the teary drama…Lauren. ;-)
