“Yeah. It still sucks though.”
“I know it does but if there’s one thing I learned while being married to your father, it’s that love is a raw and powerful emotion. It conquers and lives in nearly everyone. And if Hashem wants you two to be together, then you will be. Just have faith.”
Faith. That was something that Dano had grappled with for a long time. Whether it was faith in God, her friends, or herself, there always seemed be some action or event that would make her question everything. When it all came down to it, she had no control whatsoever, and that scared her.
8 o’clock rolled around and so did Dano’s SUV in front of Madison’s house. Deciding it would be best to just dress simply, she threw on a pair of jeans, a leather belt, and a black beater with her smaller Star of David silver necklace… but she did put on some Hugo Boss cologne that happened to smell pretty damn good on her for good measure.
She was surprised that her necklace wasn’t jumping on her chest considering her heart was beating hard enough to break her ribs. It was a feeling she wasn’t very used too, the severe nervousness. The way it made her slightly queasy and her fingers tremble was an alarming annoyance. Though it was actually rather amusing considering the dark skinned girl had been in life threatening situations but had felt no where close to how she did at the moment. “Come on you pussy. Chill out. It’s just a date. Wait! Fuck no it isn’t. Notadatenotadatenotadate.” she repeated the three words like a mantra until her breath gave out and she smacked her head lightly against the steering wheel.
“Aba give me strength.” Her voice barely a whisper. Hoping beyond all hope that her silent prayer would reach her father. A deep breath… and then another and she was out of the car, rounding the front of her vehicle when the front door opened. Her steps ceased in front of the passenger door as a beautiful silhouette emerged from the house.
Unconsciously, Dano’s hand went over her heart, truly believing that it would beat it’s way out of her chest while she muttered, “Be still.” under her breath.
Time had slowed to an excruciatingly sluggish pace, leaving Daniella with the delicious torture of having her brain fried until there were three thoughts left; Madison, love and lust. Her Parasuco jeans that showed off her assets below the belt as well as the green and white long-sleeved American Eagle shirt should have tipped the taller girl off that she was in for a friendly hang out but her libido was screaming otherwise and she fought her damnest to keep herself from kissing the latina senseless.
“Heartburn?” Madison asked, noticing how Dano’s hand remained on her chest.
Snapped out of her daze, Daniella chuckled self-consciously and rubbed the back of her neck. “No. I uh, I just had an itch.”
This got a giggle out of the shorter girl and in turn made her darker companion puff up proudly, and a torrent of butterflies go nuts in her stomach. ‘I’m gonna end up in the hospital with all these freakin reactions.’
“You’re really cute when you’re nervous.” Madison said with a smile, reaching up and taking Dano’s hand from its habit and letting it dangle at her side. The touch was fleeting but left a lingering tingling sensation on the skin, her own body trying to recreate the feeling but failing miserably.
“Thanks.” Was this a way to tease her to insanity for torture or was it an indication that there actually might be some major progression being made? For the hundredth time that day, Daniella didn’t have a clue. “Shall we?” she asked, opening the passenger side door.
Her companion cocked an eyebrow in question at the act which she merely grinned at. “What? Friends open doors for friends.”
“Whatever you say Romeo.” Madison replied as she hopped in.
Closing the door behind her, Dano sucked in a huge breath and exhaled before running around the other side and climbing in. ‘This is gonna be interesting.’

Aww…2 months babe??!!?? I don’t think we’ll survive without an update. Hehe, I’m just kidding, we’ll wait patiently for your return;) Have a safe trip, where ever it is that you’re going. Awesome chapter by the way. Dano is such a cutie!
BOOOOOO! for having to leave of course…lol im not sure if ill be entirely sane when u return…i mean the posts werent comming in like they used to as it was…now i have to wait 2 whole months?? lol..ill have my license by then, lmao…..but i hate to disagree with soncrazy, but i LOVE reading about madison and dano…as much splashley goodness thats being posted on this site…we need a little variety :) and btw…this is TOTALLY a date! lol…pllllllleeeeaaaase post before you leave…im begging you! lol i REALLY wanna know whats gonna happen!! lol…but if u dont…i hope u have fun…where ever ur going…:)

Awww. I hate that you are leaving us. I hope you can post again before you leave. This is as bad as waiting for the show to start back. lol I love the Dano and Madison relationship, not as much as Spencer and Ashley, but almost. Hope you have a wonderful trip where ever you are going. Love ya mucho!! ;)
