We're Going Down – (Chapter: I'm Bringing Sexy Back)
|
I shall be telling this with a sigh Somewhere ages and ages hence: Two roads diverged in a wood, and I— I took the one less traveled by, And that has made all the difference.
Most people assume that I’ve always had the perfect life. They see me now, at 25, a movie producer with a gorgeous wife and two adorable kids, and they think to themselves “that girl has never had a bad day in her life”. Well, that’s where they are wrong. I’ve had a lot of bad days, and most of them started the day that Ashley Davies moved to Los Angeles, my junior year in high school. Let me digress. My name is Spencer Carlin and I’m madly in love with Ashley, who is now my wife. But I think it’s important to tell people the story of how we became who we are today. Because honestly, that story changed everything I would ever know. So let’s go back to my junior year since that’s where all of this begins… That’s me. Yep, right there front and center in the cafeteria. I’m the blonde with all the people trying to sit by me. The girl on my right is Chelsea. She’s my best friend, and president of art and drama. Madison is on my left and is head cheerleader. Her boyfriend Aiden happens to be captain of the basketball team and my brother. Ironic I know; that we both managed to get the looks from our parents. And that leaves me. All five foot four, perfectly toned and tanned body and gorgeous blue eyes, long blonde hair, dating whoever I want to at the time, me. Now the only reason I’m informing you all of this is to show what my life was like before Ashley came. As you can see, I had the dream life for someone my age. I was popular, had great friends, and money. My mom was a doctor and had made quite a living here in LA. I had everything I wanted and then some. I thought to myself that life couldn’t get better. Then I met her. CommentsLeave a ReplyYou must be logged in to post a comment. |

It has promise. Only thing that’s off is Assden as Spencer’s brother.
