Time Doesn’t Exist. Clocks Exist. – (Chapter: Ch.14: Spencer, Meet the Reason)
Out of all the explanations that Spencer had come up with so far, this seemed the most logical and, more importantly, it was fixable! Now all she had to do was wait for Ashley to come back from wherever she had run off to so she could explain herself.
Spencer sprung up from her position on the floor more determined than ever and began pacing back and forth across her room, muttering to herself, practicing what she was going to say when the brunette returned. Ten minutes of pacing and one decision later, she was bored once again, impatiently waiting to hear that front door open.
Tapping her fingers mythodically against the corner of the dresser, relishing in the taptaptaptap that lingered in her ears, Spencer took a moment to look down at herself and realized that she was still wearing her pajamas – an oversized Van Halen t-shirt and an old pair of cheerleading shorts. Shooting a quick glance at the clock to check the time, she ran over to the bathroom, shedding items of clothing on the way. Practically throwing herself in the shower and washing herself as quick as humanly possible, she hopped out and with one close call – a dripping wet girl and slippery tile don’t mix well – made her way back into her bedroom.
Losing herself in the closet, she finally decided on casual, but cute – snug jeans and a tightly fitted, vintage ACDC shirt that she had a suspicion Ashley would like. Cursing at the blow dryer for not working faster, she finished her hair and threw on a light layer of makeup before tossing all the clothes strewn around her room into the closet, forcing the doors shut.
Then the blonde walked into the kitchen, thanking God, or more appropriately Aiden, for the coffee waiting for her, and grabbing a mug full, made herself comfortable sitting Indian style on the couch.
And this was exactly how Ashley found her.
Spencer, caught up in the many thoughts swimming around in her head, never heard the back sliding glass door open and was lucky she didn’t spill her coffee when the sight of the brunette that occupied her every thought appeared in front of her.

oh god. it’s a walk to remember all over again. but i cried hard enough in that movie..and they weren’t even two girls. puhlease don’t kill ashley though. seriously. that would suck. a lot.
Wow! I was totally not expecting that little turn of events. Ashley can not be sick again. Please don’t make her sick and then die. *gets on knees and begs* Seriously, my poor heart couldn’t handle that. In your very first chapter, Spencer was upset because Ashley wasn’t with her. Please don’t tell me it’s because Ashley is dead. The drama, the angst, I love it!
