I finally smiled as I got up and walked over to the bed, sitting down Indian style, “How should we do this?”
She shrugged and turned her face towards me, “I haven’t been to a party since middle school where we played truth or dare.”
I shrugged, “Then we can play truth or dare.”
She lifted herself up onto her elbows, “Seriously?”
I shrugged, “Sure, why not?”
She shrugged and flipped over onto her back, “Alright, truth or dare?”
”Truth.”
”Hmm…” she stared up at the ceiling. “How far have you gone with Aiden?”
”Wow, way to start off slow.”
It appeared like she was blushing slightly, “Sorry. I can ask you something else if you want.”
I shook my head, “No, it’s fine. I have kissed him but that’s it.”
”Then what’s with the card?”
I smirked slightly, “Not your turn missy.”
She smiled, “Sorry, I pick truth.”
”Why do you hate Madison?”
”Because she hates me.”
I gave her an unbelieving look, “That can not be it.”
”Well, she stabbed me in the back when she was supposedly my best friend.”
I pulled at the blanket beneath me, “Oh, sorry.”
”Not your fault… some people just can’t handle the truth.”
I didn’t have to ask her what truth she was talking about, everyone knew that Ashley was gay. “Yeah, I guess so. I don’t care… just do you know.”
”Thanks, I kind of figured as much. So, truth or dare?”
I wasn’t going to pick dare first, ”Truth.”
”What’s with the card?”
I rolled my eyes, “Madison’s doing.”
She chuckled, “Surprise, surprise.”
I shrugged, “Truth or dare?”
”Hmm… dare.” She quirked her eyebrows up in a challenging demeanor.
I glanced around the room. I really wasn’t sure what to dare her to do, so I said the best thing I could come up with, “I dare you to let me drive your car to my house tomorrow.”
Her eyebrows fell and her mouth did as well as she scrambled to sit up, “Are you serious?”
I smirked, “Yup.” Mark up one point for me.
