“That bitch broke his heart, lied to him about her sexuality, tried to pump him for information on his best friend, i.e me, and dumped him to get in my pants! How dumb are boys?!” The brunette looked around the clearing to try to calm herself, but it only made it worse.
“Spence?”
“Hmmm?” Spencer asked as she sipped her hot chocolate as they slowly walked over to the ticket booth.
“There are a lot of kids from King here.” Ashley observed, still looking around but suddenly forgetting her anger and getting worried.
“I know, right.” Spencer didn’t seem to understand where Ashley was going with this. She was just so happy to be here with Ashley, like a date. Add that to the fact that the alcohol they had been consuming earlier had yet to wear-off, and the blonde felt brave. Maybe tonight will be the night. Spencer thought as she observed the brunette’s frowning face. Even worried she looked gorgeous, the blonde thought.
“Spence, I got a bad feeling about this.” Ashley said slowly. She watched as happy teenagers ran around, some in costumes, laughing, talking, ignorant to the fact that the past week had been so horrific.
“Jesus, Spencer, everyone is here. Look.” Ashley pointed over to the hayride just as Spencer’s four friends, Madison, Sherry, Taylor, and Candace, climbed into the back of wagon that was being pulled by a noisy tractor.
“Thanks for the invite, guys.” Spencer grumbled under her breath.
“Spencer! What the fuck, who cares if you were invited or not! Practically everyone from King is here!”
“Which means…?” Spencer asked slowly.
“Which means the Killer is probably here!” Ashley’s eyes swept the field in a panic. “Oh shit.” She whispered, shocked.
“What?!” Spencer asked, clinging to Ashley’s side, wrapping her arm around the brunette’s.
“That Clay kids here. Shit, Spencer we got to get the fuck out of here.” The brunette said with panic in her voice. With all those kids from King and her star suspect present, Ashley was starting to see real danger with her and Spencer there.
“No, Ash! We have to stay. This is why we’re here, to protect people. Look, Carmen, Aiden and them are going into the corn maze. We’ll follow them and…” Spencer broke-off as her eyes landed on the boy slowly walking across the field. He was alone and didn’t answer the many people passing him, clearly saying hello. She watched Garrett, hands stuffed in his pockets as he made his way over to his destination.

We’ve gone too long without an update and we missed you!!! Just so you know, I took notes as well. Aunt Marie creeps me out. Period. That’s all I have to say about her. Aww, poor Arthur, still so broken up. Apparently, he really doesn’t know his kids very well. How can he not know that it wasn’t his daughter who wrote the note? The killer was right beside him … scary! Stupid kids, they won’t go to the dance because of the murders but they go to dark corn mazes?? That’s like, ok killer, come and get me, kill me now since I don’t have enough sense to stay home or do the buddy system! *coughs Jonica* Kyla asking Ashley hang out felt kinda incestuous, even if they’re not related in your story. The Psycho theme playing in the background was kinda funny. Hahaha And they finally kiss!! But the progress of their relationship will suffer a setback because of the meddling, huh? You didn’t mention whoever the Killer is holding prisoner again… I have a hunch who it is but I can’t be sure. Sooooo, that means you have to post more chapters A.S.A.P. Thanks!

I pretty much agree with everything keepXmeXawake said. aunt marie pisses me off and yes she’s freaking creepy. poor ash hearing all that she said to spence. yay jonica bit the big one! sorry if I seem too happy about that but I don’t like her. sucks that their first kiss was to fool carmen, but at least it happened! finally! interested to see who the other 3 students are that the killer got to. sooo of course it means that you really really have to post again… really really soon!!! please?? ok, thanks. excellent job stix! omg so glad youre back!!! sorry bout your mom, but very glad shes doing well, and very glad you had a great bday and holiday! i wasnt sure i was gonna like a mystery/thriller from you as much as your other stories, but i shoulda known better- its every bit as addictive to read as the others :) big thanks to all who encouraged your return- but even bigger thanks to you for refusing to leave a story unfinished :) -waiting not so patiently for the next installment :)

Hey I am uber glad you are back. This story is awesome. The way you manage for me to hate a fictional character such as Marie is just amazing. Its her fault that both girls are in such pain. They deserve the best and the best is each other. I am ready for more chapters whenever you post. Sorry it took so long to read this one. But it was great. I cant wait for the killer to get what he/she deserves. I would say to bad for Jonica but I never really liked her so oh well. Hmm that probably sound bad….anyway I wonder who else got killed that night. I am glad it was not adian even though he did lie to ash which was a douch move. I hope there is more spence and ash closeness that is always nice. Ok well thanks for the post and stay safe. -Jess
