“Well, obviously me. I’m head of the dance committee. Then there’s Madison.” Spencer didn’t miss the way Lily and Ashley traded suspicious glances. “What? You guys think Madison is a suspect?” Spencer asked with a hint of humor in her voice.
“Spence. She’s a bigot, she’s King High’s gossip mongrel, and she’s scary as hell.” Ashley said, checking off each point on her fingers.
“She was also at the hay ride.” Lily added.
“Please, Madison is a lot of things, but she’s not a killer.” Spencer said with an eye roll. “You guys! Come on!” Spencer said, holding in laughter as she watched Lily and Ashley nervously avoid Spencer’s gaze. “I can’t believe you would think that Madison is a suspect!”
“Think about it, Spence. You knew Patrick was gay. Is there any way that maybe one night you got a little drunk and let it slip?” Ashley asked, folding her arms across her chest.
“No! There is no way I told anyone.” Spencer told the brunette firmly. Ashley cocked an eyebrow and waited for the blonde with a thoroughly disbelieving look on her face. Spencer expelled a breath and gave in. “Okay…maaaaaybe there’s a chance that I could have possibly let it slip, but that’s, like, a really slim possibility.” The blonde conceded.
“Then we have our first legit suspect. She had access to the list, secrets, and we know that she’s a closed-minded bitch.” Lily concluded. Spencer rolled her eyes again before she turned back to the easel and wrote Madison’s name at the top.
“There’s no way it’s Madison. She’d never kill her best friend.” Spencer said as she turned back to the two participating girls.
“But, come on, was Madison and Sherry really friends? Every time I heard them talk to one another they were always calling each other names.” Ashley said.
“That’s just how we are with each other.”
“Which brings us to our next suspect; Candace.” Lily pointed out. “Candace also had access to the list, is a bigot, and was at the hay ride.”
“Oh come on!” Spencer almost yelled and then lowered her voice despite the fact that it still held anger. “Not all my friends can be suspects! What about your friends!”
“Um, our friends,” Ashley said, gesturing to Lily, Carmen, and herself. “Are the biggest targets.”

dun dun dun! another fantatic chap stix! I was hoping ash and spence would’ve used their closet time to really express what they feel for each other but hey it worked out anyway, at least they didn’t really get mad at each other in this chap. I loved the way spence was so concerned when ash told her about almost being hit by the car, that was so great. and are you serious? you’re almost done with this?? =( ahh well it’s definitely worth all the suspense and angst! excellent job, can’t wait to find out what they just found out in the files aobut their parents. pms please!!
mmmm. thts all i can say. amazing. theres so much stuff going hand in hand. i personally think the killer is christine and the protege is paula. guess i’ll have to find out. and u being a naughty girl ;) shame shame. lol PMS!!

That was an awesome update. I want to know what happened to their parents that would cause a reaction like that. Its just wow. I bet they will figure out who the killers are. I missed this story I am glad you updated. Spence is so going to come out to Ash because you just can’t leave feelings like that hidden forever. Well her mouth may not speak them but her hands are eager to show. Haha. Well I hope everything is going good with you and I hope you post soon. -jess
brat!! if paula and raife didn’t die in a car accident i’m going to be very upset and i’m also still convinced that paula and raife are the killers. and i haven’t ruled out arthur yet…hmmm…oh and whatever happened to the girl that was trapped and restrained by the killer a few chapters back…perhaps that’s christine and that’s how they got into ashley’s house…oh yes, my wheels are spinning and you can’t convince me otherwise. ughhh i don’t know what to make of everything, i need to re-read the story in it’s entirety and take notes. but it was a splendid update that i thoroughly enjoyed reading and i think that you should write the rest of it right now. ha, isn’t it great that i have my username back? i bet you just missed all of my demands and unreal expectations. i sure missed emmmm :-)
