    Ash gets a visitor and the past rears its beautiful face… again

    After a few moments of quiet contemplation, I grabbed my laptop and quickly booted it up, wondering if there were any emails that could entertain me for a short while.  Upon opening my inbox all I was greeted with was reams of junk mail, all claiming their contents would drastically improve my life – “how to enlarge your penis”; not really a concern of mine in any way; “Vicodin”; “Valium”; “Viagra”… and an email from Aiden – “The Rules and Regulations of PNG – the small print you forgot to read”.  I immediately command-q’d the window and watched his annoyingly sarcastic words shrink away from me.  I was tempted to forward him the email I’d received about enlarging certain appendages, perhaps with a message informing him he should quit thinking with his.

    Bored of the silence in which I was residing, the sound of my fish tank slowly driving me insane, I plugged my laptop into the ludicrously expensive speakers I bought with my first pay package and browsed my iTunes library.  Every other song I wanted to play reminded me of Spencer, and the irony of the connection between my current state and the titles I perused only managed to darken my mood.  I was about to give up completely when Nina Simone’s name shone out to me like a beacon of light, saving me from having to deal with being able to hear all of my confused thoughts as they span around and around in the washing cycle of my mind.  Cranking up the volume to the point I couldn’t hear the voice in my head telling me I should be careful I didn’t piss off my neighbours, “Do I Move You” filled my apartment, bouncing off every wall and warming me like a convection heater, sucking the cold from around me.  I smiled, her voice washing over me and cleansing me of all the crap I was feeling.  For 2 minutes 45 seconds, anyway.  Hearing the song reminded me of the fact I should learn to play the harmonica – I could do the whole guitar/piano/singing thing, but for real blues I needed to master that small mouth organ… I felt that listening to the blues was very appropriate, under the circumstances.

    2. Wow. Now we know why Ash is pissed. I would be too if the person I was falling in love with did that to me. Update soon, would ya? I’m ready for some more “project new girl”. :] Woot. And I think there might just be more behind the story then what is at first revealed. Hmm?

    4. shut up! how could spencer do that?! ughhh. poor ashley :-(. this is like..the only time i feel bad for her lol. cuz honestly, after the season finale i feel no remorse towards her. well…i say that now cuz i dont know whats going to come about in season 3 haha buuut…still. great update! cant wait for more!
