“I guess that’s also the reason why she was screaming that Ashley killed her son and also deserved to die right?” Spencer growls
“Maybe.”
“I can’t believe you’re doing this.” Spencer says in disbelief
“Look, why don’t we talk about something else?” Melissa says sweetly
“Like what?” Spencer snaps back angrily
“Like when you’re going to take me out. I know you want me. You’ve always flirted with me so let’s just go out and see how things go.” Melissa says sweetly
Spencer sighs and says firmly, “Listen very carefully Melissa. Yes, I flirted with you but that was before I met Ashley. If I had really been interested in you we would of gone out with you a long time before that. I will never go out with you. I‘m in love with Ashley.”
“Ah come on baby. You really don’t know what love is until you give it a try with me.” Melissa purrs
Spencer groans in frustration and says, “Okay, let’s try this way. I already found love with Ashley and I’m very happy. She’s my everything Melissa and that will never change.”
“And how do you really know that, huh? You’re work is very demanding and I doubt she’ll understand the reason why you have to be away from her for it. I can understand it because I’m in the same field. Besides we’d always see each other because we work here.” Melissa argues
“Melissa, Ashley is always with me in every sense of the word. She’s in my thoughts almost every second of the day, she’s in my heart, hell I even have her in my pocket.” Spencer says
“Your pocket?” Melissa asks
“Yes, my pocket. See this hanckerchief. I took it from her drawer. It has her initials on it. She doesn’t even know I have it. Everyday before I come into work I spray a little of her perfume on it and when I begin to go out of my mind from missing her so much I pull it out and smell it. For those few fleeting moments I feel like I’m with her again and I’m whole. You will never be able to compete with that, Melissa. No one ever will.” Spencer says softly
“So that’s your last word on the subject?” Melissa asks angrily

I spent a lot of the morning not being able to breathe through my nose and reading this story. It’s super good and I love it. ‘I grin and whisper, “Want to see if we can break the cot?”‘ haha, I loved that!

OMG! That was the best. Loved that Spencer had the wire on. Melissa deserves everything she’s going to get as well as the Dennisons. Ugh! I love how you make even the most awkward situations so romantic with Spencer keeping Ashley’s scent with her. I mean what could Melissa say to that. Nothing. I was smiling the whole time looking at my silly laptop screen with dreamy eyes. You take me through so many emotions. I hope that all reading this can really see what a great story this is too. Loved the update. I’m glad Melissa’s plan backfired. I loved that Spencer had Ashley’s handkerchief and had Ashley’s scent with her. They are so sweet together. I loved the last line of the update with the cot. PMASAP.
