Mrs. Officer – (Chapter: Dream Turned Nightmare)

I was so into the dialogue shared between my mom and girlfriend that I hadn’t noticed how close Ashley was to the edge.

    Wait… Oh my God!

“Not if I can help it.” My mom said, giving Ashley a devious grin.

My mom, gripping Ashley’s shoulders tight, pushed her back off the edge.

    “NOOOOOOOO ASHHHHHHH!”

    Ashley’s POV

I was awoken to the most earth shattering scream humanly possible. And to top it off it was right in my ear.

“Spencer, Spencer, calm down.” I tried to grab at my thrashing girlfriend’s hands.

Spencer’s scream was startling enough that her dad had to pull the RV over to make sure everything was okay. I eventually got her to calm down, but as soon as she came back to reality, she pushed up out of my hold on her and ran into the bathroom. To say I was shocked is an understatement.

“What’s going on?” Paula asked, putting a warm hand on my shoulder.

“I’m not a hundred percent sure, but I think Spencer was having a really bad dream.” I responded, still sounding just as shocked as I looked.

“Is she okay?” Glen’s wife, Erin, asked.

“I don’t know. She ran off before I got a chance to ask.”

“Maybe we should just give her some space, okay guys? Ash why don’t you try and go see what’s up.” Mr. Carlin said once everyone had gotten comfortable in their seats again.

    “Yeah, okay.”

I made my way to the back of the RV, where the bathroom was located, and knocked on the small, wooden door.

    “Hey baby, is everything okay?”

I waited for about a minute and there was still no answer.

“Come on Spence. It’s me, you can talk to me.” Still nothing.

I was now about to do something that would probably piss her off, but at the moment I really didn’t care. I just needed to know she was okay. Taking a bobby pin from my hair, I picked the lock on the door and let myself in, shutting the door behind me.

The look on Spencer’s face was priceless as I entered the tiny bathroom.

“I learned that in the academy.” I thought I’d let her know.

    “What do you want Ash?”

    1. oh boy. don’t start that spence, it’s not fair to ash. course, it’s not fair that the whole relationship is still a secret from paula, but don’t go pushing ash away. communication! tell her what you’re feeling and figure something out!!! excellent update, pms please!

    2. Ashley and Glen need to find away to either let it ‘slip’ or get Spencer to let it slip because at this rate she’s going to push ashley to far away and bury that part inside her self and be miserable.

    3. I understand that Spencer was so scared and worried. But Ash is a supportive girlfriend. She’ll always be there for her and she won’t let Spencer push her away. Great update. Please post more soonest :D
