Mrs. Officer – (Chapter: Dream Turned Nightmare)

“Ash, you think you could give me a little help over here?” I huff out, while trying my best to lift the cooler into my parents RV.

Just as I’m about to drop it Ashley comes behind me and easily takes the cooler from my hands as if it weighed two pounds. I stand awestruck while she climbs up into the RV and set down the heavy box filled with coronas on the floor.

“What?” Ashley asked, turning around and giving me a puzzled expression. “I work out.”

She then jumped down from the RV and went back in the condo to help my mom with the sleeping bags and pillows.

“Hey Spence.” My dad greeted me from the passenger window of the RV, sending me jumping in the air at least two feet.

“Jesus dad, don’t scare me like that!” I said only to be smacked in the back of the head by my mother.

“Don’t use the lord’s name in vain like that Spence.” My mom scolded.

I looked to Ashley who stood by my mom, trying her best to hold in a laugh and gave her a dirty look.

“I was just going to tell you we’re all set and ready to go.” My dad said, placing his favorite travel hat on his head and tipping it to the side.

Oh boy this was going to be one long ride.

After picking up Glen, his wife and son, Chelsea, and Clay, we all settled in the giant RV and were off to Doheney Beach State Park. It was a two hour drive and most of it was spent sleeping with my head on Ashley’s shoulder. As much as I wanted to hold her, I knew that wouldn’t be possible without my mom questioning us, so Ashley held my hand under the table instead.

When I woke up, I surprisingly was no longer in the RV. The area around me was familiar, but I still couldn’t put my finger on it. I was on a cliff, a huge, giant cliff. Did I mention I’m terrified of heights? The sky was bright blue and there was not a cloud in sight. The air was still and the only sounds were the rustling of trees in the slight breeze. And best of all, there was my Ashley.

    1. oh boy. don’t start that spence, it’s not fair to ash. course, it’s not fair that the whole relationship is still a secret from paula, but don’t go pushing ash away. communication! tell her what you’re feeling and figure something out!!! excellent update, pms please!

    2. Ashley and Glen need to find away to either let it ‘slip’ or get Spencer to let it slip because at this rate she’s going to push ashley to far away and bury that part inside her self and be miserable.

    3. I understand that Spencer was so scared and worried. But Ash is a supportive girlfriend. She’ll always be there for her and she won’t let Spencer push her away. Great update. Please post more soonest :D
