Pulling back from the kiss.
“Paula, do you know you just kissed me?”
“Yes, I know. Do you know you just kissed me back?”
“Yes, I know. Would you kiss me again?”
Her lips tasted sweet like candy. I didn’t know what to think. I just felt something inside making me want more. I had never felt this way about anyone before. Her kisses made my body come alive. I couldn’t get enough.
“Mom.. Mom….” Paula snapped out of her thoughts not realizing that she had stopped talking to her daughter.
“Sorry….We were so happy for a long time. We used to have this thing where we wrote little love notes to each other every day. I kept mine in my locker. I’m not really sure where she kept hers,” a brief smile emerged on her face as Spencer noticed. “ And then”, tears began flowing a little faster as she looked at her daughter. “Her mom found several of my notes and was going crazy. She called my mother. There was so much drama. Spencer tried desperately to warn me and to see me, but she couldn‘t get away.”
Paula let out a cry. Spencer put her arm around her mother to try and console her. Paula continued, “Two nights later…she was at my window… I snuck outside…and…”
“Mom…mom you can tell me. I promise I won‘t judge you or hurt you in anyway. You can be fully honest with me.”, Spencer said on the verge of crying herself.
Paula was surprised at the maturity that Spencer spoke with. She actually felt comfortable sharing this with her daughter. Hoping that this will make them closer so that maybe she can help her. “Okay, Spencer, I will tell you exactly. But remember I am still your mother always….and this is between us”
“Promise…” , Spencer quietly said.
Paula went on to recount the memory out loud, “When we were outside together, she immediately wrapped her arms around my waist and pulled me into a kiss. She kissed me like it was the first time. The intensity was amazing. I never wanted it to end. And then she whispered in my ear, ‘”I am so in love with you, Paula. I can’t….live…without you. I can’t …breathe without you.”

Wow that was very touching chapter. Had me in tears when paula was telling spencer about her and spencer. I cant belive after all what she told spencer she still doesnt want them together.PMS
Gosh, how can Paula be so touching and hypocritical at the same time…geez. You’d think she’d realize that she’s doing to Spencer what her parents did to her. By doing that she’s just pushing Spencer away…aiyah, parents…I don’t get them.

Oh holy…here I am sick balling over this chapter! I mean you brought tears to my eyes it was just so…and then at the end when she said that she and Ashley would always be. This was, that was…and you actually made me like Paula for a minute there! No ones ever made me like her if their fics…ugh and in a way I can understand why she’s doing what she’s doing. But then again she’s doing exactly what her parents did to her and look at what happened there! ARGH…you totally rule! Keep writing, and I’ll keep reading.
