Spencer: How did you end up back here?

Ashley: Kyla wrote to me. She told me it was time I stopped running, and came home to face my demons. I realized she was right. I hated to admit it, but I knew I couldn’t keep running. So, I came home. When I did, I realized exactly what I had missed out on. Everything was different. New. I went to my room. When I opened the door, memories consumed me. Everywhere I looked I saw us. The bed we made love on so many nights. The couch we cuddled on while watching movies. I may have been gone for four years, but everything felt like it happened yesterday. It was all still fresh in my memory. I looked at the pictures of us and cried. I cried so hard that night Spence. I finally realized what I had lost. Kyla came in and just held me. Whispering to me that it was going to be ok. But I knew it wasn’t. I didn’t know where you where, or even if you were ok. They never told me you called. One night, Kyla asked me where I thought you could have went. I said Texas. I told her about your grandparents, and when you were a child how you used to spend your summers there. That, that was where you were the happiest. I guess she remembered.

Spencer: But why did she come now, and not then?

Ashley: Because…..because I told her I loved you. Was in love with you, and if I could have you in my arms, I would never let you go. I wanted to tell you how sorry I was, and how I would spend everyday making it up to you. If I could just see you again. But I was too much of coward. I was afraid of what I would find. Than, one day I came home and Kyla was gone. I asked Aiden where she went, and he simply said she had business to take care of. The next thing I know, she is here and so are you.

Spencer: I wish I could say the same for me. I mean, I wanted to see you again, tell you how sorry I was for ever hurting you like I did, but unlike you, I thought I would never get the chance. I thought you were dead. And what pisses me off now, is the fact of knowing that each day I called, they could have told me you were alive. They lied to me everyday for the last five years. EVERY FUCKING DAY! They knew it was me, how could they not have told me. All this hurt, all this anger we put ourselves through. It was all for nothing. All of it for nothing.
