    It’s decision time for Ashley, is tonight the night?

    ‘You OK?’ I mouthed and she looked surprised, then smiled and nodded.

    ‘Yeah,’ she mouthed back which still left me puzzled, she had been distracted all evening and I wondered what was bothering her but hadn’t had a chance to ask.

    I must admit I’d also been pre-occupied with the Maggie/May drama, more so as I hadn’t seen either of them since earlier in the evening, I assumed May had left but was still worried about Maggie, I know I’d upset her and it was all my stupid fault. After she had left the party I realised how badly I had reacted and how pissed I’d have felt if anyone had acted like that over me. I’d have been furious. It’s official, I’m a territorial ass

    ‘Want to go?’ I leant over so I could whisper in Ash’s ear and she turned her head to reply.

    ‘Yes,’ her lips grazed my ear and hot breath blasted my skin.

    Fuck! I might need to go home at this rate, my body was out of control and I didn’t trust myself right now. Last thing we needed was me pushing things when Ash wasn’t ready, I’d rather jump off a cliff than let that happen.

    I led Spencer into the house, both of us ignoring the looks that were being thrown our way, they ranged from curious to down right pervy, yes that would be Madison, gotta give her credit for consistency. My girlfriend followed me into the kitchen where I grabbed a few bottles of water to re-stock the fridge in my room, one thing I had copied from my room at my mother’s house, this one only held water and a soda or two, not the copious amounts of all things alcoholic and a drug stash that the one at my old house had.

    Whoa! My thoughts stopped for a second. I just realised that I considered this my home now, not my mothers house, makes sense really as that had stopped being my home when my dad died.
