    It’s decision time for Ashley, is tonight the night?

    ‘It’s Maggie,’ I began ‘and Spencer,’ I paused before explaining myself, Amy just nodded and settled back.’Maggie’s kissed me twice today,’ I said and then looked to see her reaction. She sat up and hugged her knees but didn’t say anything. ‘I kissed her back, I liked it, she’s still my home Amy,’ I admitted with a sigh as I remembered all the feelings of lust, warmth and safety she gave me. ‘It confuses me,’ I confessed as I picked at the comforter.

    ‘I know the feeling,’ was her soft reply, ‘you know I love her.’ I nodded, knowing her feelings were strong for Maggie. ‘But what about Spencer?’ She asked quietly, a tinge of worry in her voice.

    ‘I told Spencer, she saw the first kiss but not the second. Austin did and went totally ballistic with us both.’ I explained with a sigh.

    ‘Austin?’ Amy looked sceptical.

    ‘Dude, never piss her off, she has a temper when she’s pushed too far,’ I shook my head at the memory of her fury. ‘Maggie got the worst but they seem OK now.’ I knew I’d missed something but had no idea what was going on right now, I’d ask Spencer about it later.

    ‘Wow, I had no idea,’ Amy muttered in surprise as she ran her hands through her hair, teasing the spikes with her fingers.

    ‘Yeah, she told us she wouldn’t let us fuck up Spencer,’ that made Amy smile.

    ‘Yeah, they are really tight,’ she agreed. ‘She cares a lot about her,’ I nodded my agreement. ‘Anyway, what did she say? Spencer I mean? When you told her?’

    ‘She understood, we talked about it and decided we both needed to step back from Maggie if we’re going to work. I just can’t handle it,’ I finished sadly.

    ‘Oh Ash!’ Amy moved forward to hug me. Distancing myself from Maggie, it was the right thing to do but now I thought about it, it made me sad. She pulled me up so I was sitting crossed legged in from of her and wrapped me in a tight hug. ‘I know how hard it is to let go,’ she whispered and I nodded and squeezed her in a hug of my own.
