Chapter 30

Bette was just putting the finishing touches on her outfit. For the opening night, she opted to wear a white power suit ensemble. Her shirt was a bit see-through and complimented her complexion well. She decided to let her hair flow and just blow dried it. For her make-up, she went for the natural look. She wasn’t aware of it but she really never did need make-up to enhance her look. Bette Porter au naturel was gorgeous. When she put more effort, she always looks sensational.

Tina was just finished applying her make-up. She did not see Bette on the room so when she was ready she went out of the room to search for her partner. Bette had her back on her and she can tell just with Bette’s back that people would swoon upon the sight of her girlfriend. Her innocence of how beautiful she really is adds to the allure of Bette Porter.

“I think I would have to tag you just so people would know that you’re not available.” Tina said.

Bette turned around and gasped when she saw Tina.

Tina was wearing a red dress that fit her like a glove. The dress complimented her creamy white skin very well and it was sexy but not vulgar.

“Did you not like my dress?” Tina teased and turned around.

“Are you kidding me? And stop showing off. I would not be responsible for my actions if you keep on parading like that.” Bette said with a smile. “Damn, you are gorgeous.”

“Ditto. Now how about we get this party started? The sooner we get this over with, the sooner we can have our private party.”

“I like the way you think, babe.”

People were starting to arrive. Just in time for the opening. Bette was working the crowd with Tina with her side. Helena came to view and Bette excused Tina and herself to greet her business partner.

“Hels! Here you are, I’ve been wondering where you are.” Bette said with a smile.

“I am not going to stand you up, Bette. This is big so I wouldn’t want to miss it.” Helena winked at Bette. “Hi Tina!” Helena greeted.

“Helena. You look great.” Tina said with a smile.
