Chapter 7
Angelica was suffocating. Her body was pinned on the couch, unable to move more than her neck and left foot. He attempted to kiss her while his hard, sweaty body rocked rhythmically against the small frame. Angelica kept moving her head to avoid his mouth, causing him to lean harder on her body.
“Get…off…me!” she managed with the little bit of breath she was able to take in.
“Oh come on Angie,” he said, “just relax.”
They both heard the front door slam. He jumped off of Angelica like a wolf sensing danger.
Mike, carrying a pizza in one hand and a six-pack in the other, came into the room. Taking in his sister’s obvious terror, he turned toward the now unwelcome guest.
“What the hell are you doing with her?” he demanded.
Angelica blocked out the yelling that ensued and locked herself in her room.
“Angie, are you okay?” her brother asked gently from outside of the door a few minutes later.
“Yes, I’m okay. Please leave me alone Mikey.”
“Okay, but Ange, please don’t tell anyone. I’ll take care of it. Telling mom would cause a lot of trouble.”
“Don’t tell anyone.”
“Don’t tell anyone.”
“Don’t tell anyone.”
Angelica woke up breathless and crying.

“Thanks for returning my call, Sarah,” said Bette, “especially on a Saturday morning.
“No problem. What can I do for you?” the psychologist asked.
“Angelica is having nightmares and seems quite reluctant to speak with me or with Tina,” Bette explained.
“Does Tina know you’ve called me?” asked Sarah.
“No, not yet,” Bette answered. “Do you need permission from her to speak with me?”
“Oh no, Tina put your name on the confidentiality release,” stated Sarah.
“She did,” Bette murmured, more in confirmation than in question.
“We’ve just never met, so I’m wondering what’s happened to prompt you to call,” Sarah said evenly.
“Angie has been acting very erratically, and was actually hysterical last night, begging me to pick her up at Tina’s.”
“Has this happened just since the Tuesday night gym dates started?” asked Sarah.

Hey 24b4t, I must say you has me there when Angie was having that dream and I thought it was Mikey too,,,but happy it wasnt’,, I like howAngie has both her mothers on the palm of her hand,,,LOl she is good and I like how you have the interaction with B&T its a good one where they listen to each other, great job!!
Angie really shouldn’t keep this to herself anymore. She won’t heal if she doesn’t talk about it.
Still don’t LIKE MIKEY!!! He is not coming to Angie’s aid, but he instead asks her to not say again as if he was the actuall MONSTER!!! Could it be his DAD???? Please let Angie tell!!

I hope Angie will open up in therapy and I hope this whole ordeal will bring B & T closer. PPS!!
so the ex-stepfather, Henry [?] sexually abused Angie[?] and she’s trying to protect TINA, and Bette…Mikey MUST speak up to help his sister…and her parents…pps
IF its Henry, actuall whomever it is, I’m sure Mamma B is gonna want to kill someone. Mike isn’t helping by keeping it quiet either. Love the little banter between B &T and how Angie and Alice fill in the information for them so they don’t have to ask the questions.
Poor Angie. I’m glad Bette made the appointment with the therapist. I hope they can get to the bottom of her nightmares, and quickly! Great post 24B&T! More please…
Tina should celebrate Bette’s birthday this year because both are excited that the other is not really in a relationship. Besides Angelica and the rest of the family would benefit if Bette and Tina were a family again.
Poor Angie, and who the hell is that baster and just wanted to kill him!
Hmm… Mike’s doing the wrong thing by keeping it quiet, and he’s definitely lost Angie’s trust. I hope it all comes out in the sessions. As for Porter’s 50th… I think Tina likely has *loads* of very specific ideas on how she and Bette could celebrate it. Thanks for the update, 24.
i’m glad it wasn’t mikey but who’s the monster? i know you said there’s hope, so here’s me hoping for tibette reunion :)
Dang, poor angie..i’m glad 2 it wasn’t mikey. OOO, yes we love flash backs, but angies was hard to read.
I´m glad too it wasn´t mike,but bette and tina might know the question soon.
Thanks for the warning, poor Angie. Guess we’ll have to see where this goes but I really feel for the kid, can’t be easy keeping all of that inside. PPS
Good chapter. I’m glad to see that Mike isn’t the culprit. Seems like it might be one of his friends. He’s trying to handle it without the adults, which is wrong, but typical of how a teenager would think.
