Chapter 10
“You need to get outside.” Shane tugged on my arm, and I tanked it back, curling into a little ball on my bed.
“I don’t wanna.”
“You sound like a little kid, Alice. Come on, you’re paler than I am!” Ew. Was I? When did that happen? “You’re going to suffocate in here if you don’t get out, seriously. You can’t even walk in a 3 foot circle in this room.”
“I’m not going out there!” I pulled the thin pillow over my head to block her out. A second later I felt her rip it from my grip and fling it aside. She knelt down so that her face was even with mine, stern brown eyes staring me down.
“Alice.”
“Shane.” I matched her tone and she narrowed her eyes, smacking me in the side of the head with her palm. “Ouch.” I said, sitting up to nurture my wound.
“Are you going to get up now?” I crossed my arms.
“Negative.” She sighed, shaking her head.
“Fine.” She shrugged, then seized me around the waist, picking me up and slinging me over her shoulder with a grunt.
“Hey!” I shrieked. “Put me down! I’ll yell rape.” I heard her laugh as she pushed open the door to the deck and set me down. I shielded my eyes against the harsh sunlight and blinked a few times. “You’re mean.”
“I’m not mean,” she pointed a finger at me. “I’m helpfully concerned. It’s called painful friendship.”
“More like a pain in my-“
“Alice!” Bette squeezed me into a hug with one arm, the other holding some light green mixed drink in a martini glass. “It’s so good to see you outside for a change. Where’ve you been?”
“Oooh, what’s that and where can I get one?” I asked, my eyes lighting up as reached for her drink. Shane swatted my hand away, pulling me by my wrist away from Bette to scold me.
“No alcohol!” I pouted.
“What? Why not?”
“Because you’re vulnerable right now, and I know you. You’d just drown yourself in it and be drunk within 10 minutes.” I opened my mouth to object.

I just wanted to turn off my pc and go to bed, but I had to check this site and saw you posted and I had to read it (I’m so going to regret this tomorrow morning when my alarm goes off way to early…;)). I couldn’t get to comment on your last chapter but Alice, Shane and Jenny did really terrorize Dana and Tonya in that one. :D lol @ Alice picking up her on phone in french. Dana ofcourse wouldn’t recognize her voice at all. :P I’m glad Dana broke up with Tonya. But does Dana really want to be just friends with Alice right now?!
Another awesome update. Your story rocks so far. Hope you post again soon!
awww damn..poor alice. how the fuck would i console someone who I loved so dearly who broke my heart..breaking up with someone else. oh wait..I have..lol Anyways, great update, i can’t wait to read what happens next. Bring Danish together!

awwww dork, that was adorable. Sorry i couldn’t post late time, but the last chapter was hilarious and awesome too. You know, i love this fic, because even though there is still drama and angst, you still make it funny. Alice’s heart is broken, but she’s not medicated or depressed. I love that about this fic. And the fact that shane and al are so tight and what not. Oh and i especially like how dana and alice don’t think they can be friends again, but they can be. They were fine at the end of the chapter, except for the fact they still love eachother. I dunno, but well done dork. I’m loving it like Mcdonalds haha. anywhoooo post soon!
Another great chapter. So Dana broke up with Tonya huh? Yeah, like our girls will stay “just friends” now. Psshhh. When hell freezes over maybe. I am right, right? Right? :-/

First off, sorry that I couldn’t review the last chapter ,which was fuckin hilarious btw, but I’ve been moving things out of my old apartment and I finally set my computer back up. Anyways, this chapter made my night, since Dana finally broke up with Satan. Oh, sorry I meant that she broke up with Tonya:) I just hope that the just friends phase with Danish will be over soon. Great chap and I’ll just have to wait impatiently for the next:)
