    Dana’s funeral


    THE LONG AND WINDING ROAD – CHAP ONE

    Tina Kennard woke up with the same headache that she had for over a week. She lay silent for a few minutes until she felt Henry’s hand touch her ass and squeeze it with serious intent. She did not move – hoping that he would think her asleep and leave her alone.

     

     

    It was not that she did not get aroused by Henry – in fact compared to the men she had dated in her teens and early twenties he was a huge catch. He only drank at weekends – and never spirits , he did his share of the chores within the house and worshipped his son.

     

     

     

     

     

    The only time Henry got really drunk was once a month when Tina’s period arrived and he considered his masculinity to be called into question because another month had passed and she was not pregnant.

     

    When she had been trying to get pregnant when she was with Bette – they had shared the monthly disappointment.

     

    Bette knew to the minute when Tina’s period was due to appear and its arrival had become a pained but SHARED ritual – Bette would pull Tina into her arms and swear that one day they would have their child – they would have the baby that would make their seven year marriage complete.

     

     

     

     

     

    Tina felt tears welling and fought to silence them — she did not want him to know how deep the hurt ran in her. To him it was a mere slight on his powers that would be satisfied the next time he got a boner or gave her two orgasms in a row. For Tina it was the monthly knife through the heart – she longed for a child of her own.

     

    Of course Micky was cute and he adored her but he was not her child. She had not carried him and spent hours talking to him while he was inside her – or gone through the agony of childbirth or the wondrous joy of holding him while he was still attached to her.

     

     

    Tina lay in silence as Henry’s alarm sounded and he got up and went through to the bathroom. He emerged exactly 24 minutes later – scratching his balls as usual – what the hell was it with men and their bollocks ?

    14. I was a little hesitant to read this one……I thought it might be too sad reading about Dana’s funeral, but knowing that you were the author, I knew it had to be good……and of course you didn’t disappoint. I love the L Wing and it looks like this is going to be another winner!

    36. Wow,nice! First I am glad that you did not make Bette pathetic and mourning after Tina. It appeared as though she was able to move on. Secondly Henry just rubs me the wrong way, not because he is a man but because, no matter what frame of reference he is placed in all I can see is him fucking Tina against Bette’s bedroom door in thier house. The way in which Tina went about the whole situation just makes me puke! So I will always regard him in a ill way. Besides that he is just not hot and has no chemistry with Tina, AT ALL! Anywho, please give us another chappy! Dying to know what happened with Bette after the two years!
