Tina turned and put her arms around Bettes neck. She looked lovingly into her lovers dark eyes and saw only devotion and desire reflected back. Their lips met, their tongues entwined and each savored the taste of one another, taking in the heat of their want and anticipation.
As sure as sunrise and sunset, as certain as the ebb and flow of the tide, time will bring them forward and serve their warm dessert of satisfied anticipation covered with the sweet, flowing juice of fulfilled want
Bette and Tina actually did eat dinner – it was just a few minutes later than Tina had anticipated. Neither of them seemed to mind.
T, that was delicious. So much better than my usual fare of takeout or popcorn washed down with spring water.
Good, Im glad you liked it. I missed making dinner for us. Now, I know when I go back to work its going to be a bit different, but Ill figure something out.
The next question Tina wanted to ask would be a test of change in Bette.
Babe, want to tell me about your first day back? Anything you want to talk about?
No, everything.. Bette was looking down and raised her eyes to meet Tinas. Nope, cant do that this time. Actually, T, it was a ***** day. I finally did make a large dent in emails and talking to artists. And let me tell you the conversation I had with
Tina smiled. This was progress. Go ahead, babe. Tell me the sordid tale.
Bette told Tina just about everything she could remember that went on today and she felt really good letting it out. It was a different feeling for her. For as long as she could remember she swallowed all the pressures and stress from her job – it was hers to deal with; she didnt need anyone elses perspective on it. What good would that do? Well, as she learned, it did no good at all keeping it in. It nearly destroyed her and all that she cared about. Tina let her talk and only spoke if Bette asked her opinion.

Bette is a woman not a child and more she is a mother now..i hope she dosent let Melvin treat her, Tina or Angie with disrespect..and Bette is sooo cute with the baby talk..lol.great chapter post soon

Hmm.. I think Melvin has finally grown up. Maybe he can spend some quality time with his daughter and her family. This is a great story, Arce. It mimics life in more ways than one.
