Always Her – (Chapter: chapter nine)
After my realization I couldn’t help but look at Ashley differently. She was so incredibly gorgeous and I wondered how I had never seen it before. The way her body moved mesmerized me and I often found myself staring, literally shaking my head to snap myself out of it.
But with my newfound knowledge came confusion. A lot of it. Along with panic and self doubt. How had I fallen in love with my best friend? I had never felt that way about another female before. Not counting Angelina Jolie of course. But I think most girls have had that fantasy. This was something completely new to me.
Those first few months afterward were extremely difficult. Her constant changing of girls was starting to bother me. I was jealous, I wanted to be with her. And that brought another thing to mind, Ashley had never once tried her charm on me. Despite the warnings I’d received, she had never shown any interest in me that way. Maybe that was why I fell for her, the thought that she was somehow unattainable. I was torn and it was killing me. So much of me wanted to tell her how I felt about her, that she made my life worth living. But the thought of what my family would say scared the hell out of me. Not to mention I’d be judged by complete strangers simply because I loved someone I wasn’t ‘supposed’ to.
I decided the best course of action was to ignore my feelings for her. I started dating a guy I had met in class, Matt. Skater type, big into drawing, wanted to be a comic book artist. That was where we met, Art class. He was cute, soft spoken, and slightly smarter than he made himself out to be. Two months later I had had enough.
I went to Ashley’s house, wanting to vent my frustrations with the male species, only to find her half naked with some random girl on her couch.
"Whoa. Hey Spence. Didn’t know you were coming over."
"I can see that. I’ll call you later."
"No wait. Stay."
She looked up at the half naked red head straddling her.
"Umm… uhh.." She looked confused.
"Michelle." The girl spoke up.

Holy shit that was awesome! The build up was so good I really thought Ashley was going to run until she did that. I’m so hoping they can work out a way to be together in the real world. I do enjoy seeing Spencers point of view it’s always good to see both sides. Great update ppms.

Hi there! I’ve just spent a very pleasurable morning catching up on your story from the beginning. I can only say ‘WOW’! I love it. You’re a great writer. The suposed one shot was amazing and I’m with the rest of them when I say I’m so glad you continued this. Although I hate that at this point Spencer isn’t with Ashley I’m really looking forward to taking the journey with them. Oh, I also love how Arthur is on the know. The differing points of view are good too. I’ll be a regular reader from now on and I can’t wait for your next update xx PMS!
